We enjoyed our stay in the Tune/Paddington. The room was comfortable and clean -- my only complaint would be the single electrical outlet, and the 5 GBP charge for a plug to even use it.
The staff was helpful and informative.
There are number of decent restaurants in the neighborhood -- we like the Greek one across the street, but the Ganges down the street and the Yan Jing a little further on are also excellent.
My boyfriend and I were just recently there in september, and we had the best experience. Although the other reviews say the hotel rooms are tiny, would agree, but their not extremely tiny, i mean its london, everything there is rather small, you don't go there expecting las vegas size rooms. The hotel was super clean and up to date, the beds were comfortable, there was a lift, and might i just say how unbelievably helpful the front desk ladies were??! OMG SUPER AWESOME! so accommodating and helped us oh so much. There is a computer there to look up things and print as well, at a small fee if you need. And the tube station is right across the street, and you're literally a 10 min walk to big ben and central london! we would most definitely come back! Plus the front desk lady, joanna was amazing! SOOOOO HELPFUL!
We arrived early and was able to book in which was great also we were able to park the car
Which was easily to find just around the orner really good parking we found the staff very helpful we enjoyed our stay

For Americans who aren't typical Americans when traveling, this hotel is the perfect place to stay! The location couldn't be more scenic or convenient - Hyde Park and Paddington Station steps away! The room perfectly suited our needs: decent bed, tea kettle and fresh milk, nice shower with truly hot and cold water, and opening windows. Simple yet comfortable. Historic yet modern. If you want to immerse yourself in true British digs, then The Paddington Hotel is for you!
The hotel is close to kings cross station but is on a loud and busy street that has cars all day and night. The rooms are right near the street and the windows do not lock and you can hear the cars and traffic through them very loudly. Hard to sleep. Random construction also. Hotel staff is bizarre and not very helpful. Maids do a nice job of cleaning. Internet is poor. Overall too expensive for what you really get staying in this hotel.
My first trip to London, I was looking for something very inexpensive, yet located near enough for easy access to many of the sights and attractions of this city. Had a great trip, and the location of the Corbigoe worked well for me. Easy walking distance (though a bus is available right there) to Victoria Station and London's West End Attractions. There is also a luandramat located only a block away, which in convenient for a longer stay.
Lets be honest, you get what you pay for. If you want Luxury or typical accomodations, this is not the place for you. But, if you want an inexpensive place to return to for a goodnights rest after your day in the city, then this place will fit that need. The rooms, (I had a single) were very small, (as most are in London), and the bathroom was actually too small, but, if you are looking to save money, and on a budget, this is a good option. It's an old hotel, but the room was clean and serviceable.

Call me cynical but I wasn't expecting an actual garden view! delighted to find an immaculate single room overlooking private square gardens. Earls' Court can be noisy, but while the hotel was close to transport links it was also nice and peaceful. Amenities were basic, but included everything you'd need for an overnight stay including kettle, room safe etc. Room was spotlessly clean. Price included basic breakfast of cereal/toast. Great value if you are looking for a pleasant central location at a no-frills price.
