From beginning to end, we were overwhelmed by the staff, location, and atmosphere of the Shelbourne Dublin Hotel. Walking out the door was a pleasure since St. Stephen's Green is right across the street. They strike a nice balance between formal and relaxed--not too stuffy.
Beautiful hotel. We felt like we were staying at Downton Abbey! All the maids had pretty little uniforms and the staff was always polishing and cleaning. All seemed happy doing their jobs and our room was perfectly cleaned and turned down each night. Even umbrellas were furnish on rainy days. Definitely would stay again!
I chose this Hotel to celebrate my partners 60th birthday as its rated very well and I wasn't disappointed.
As we had plans away from the hotel for the evening and booked a breakfast somewhere else I cant say to much.
The hotel laid out a table and a few nibbles so we could enjoy the cake I got delivered before we set off out for the evening.
Temple bar is expensive but lively , worth a visit . Also visit Bewleys cafe in Grafton Street for a truly wonderful breakfast.
We very much enjoyed our stay at the Four Seasons. While it is located out of the centre, it is walkable (30 minutes), cabs are in good supply or it's an easy 5 - 10 minute bus ride. The room was immaculate, as was the service. Our children loved the pool and the extra special treatment on checking in.
