The property and surrounding area was lovely, but despite daily requests for vegan options for breakfast and dinner pre-paid for and emailed to hotel it was very limited. Last afternoon asked if they could make a vegan burger for evening and was given risotto and only buffet food was carbs rice and chips but saw on bar menu vegan burger. So service was poor in that respect. Also drinks prices very high, shower gel and shampoo in room but no conditioner. Received a bottle of wine for using Expedia but no cork screw, when asked for one told I would be charged room service fees

Amazing hotel, friendly staff, great food, rooms were great. Overall fantastic hotel, however the Spa in the hotel was a bit of a let down as we paid extra to access however no one told us the sauna , hydropall and more were not currently working. Talking to someone who uses it on the reglar at the hotel this had been broken for over a week yet didnt think to tell us. Woud have just used the pool otherwise. Staff in the spa didnt seam to care too much about it when notified. Would have been 5 stars if not for this as spa was why we chose the hotel in the end.

It was one of the nicest hotels I've stayed at. Stayed for 7 nights and got a room upgrade which was great! It has good access to the beach, spa facilities are nice. Staff was helpful. Thoroughly enjoyed the breakfast, but the buffet dinner option was was worth the price, since most restaurants nearby were still closed, we ended up eating a lot at the chill bar. The food was tastey but menu is limited. Old town shuttle service only goes twice a day so if you miss it, uber is the only option to go around. All in all it was a good stay. I would recommend the hotel!

Pasamos dos días allí y fue muy agradable , el hotel está situado en un lugar lindo frente a la playa casi , dónde tiene acceso dirécto, el personal tiene excelente servicio , siempre dispuestos a dar información de todo en general el hotel es hermoso piscinas jardines todo muy bien, la comida deliciosa y los platos muy bien servidos, todo con detalle, lo único que nos parece se podría mejorar es la cama.

Awesome hotel. Spacious rooms. Amazing selection of breakfast. Staff is very nice. Beach is literally 10 minutes walk from the hotel. Only thing is, it’s away from the city center and have to call Uber for everything if you are not driving. We loved our stay in this hotel.

First time staying in this hotel and we had a great stay! Very good value for money. Brilliant selection at breakfast. I requested gluten free bread most mornings and the staff were so helpful. Our room was spacious, warm and cleaned throughly every day. Spa, gym and indoor pool was clean and well equipped. I had an anti stress massage which was amazing. Thank you / obrigada!

Best hotel
Absolutely amazing experience all the way from check in through to check out. We had an early flight and they let us check in early from 11am and even decorated our room. The hotel restaurants and bar had friendly and helpful staff that were always around to help and the food was AMAZING. The walk to the beach was peaceful and beautiful as well. The overall stay was one of the best I’ve ever had and I definitely recommend this hotel to everyone.

Generally the hotel fell short of what is expected for a 5 star hotel. It was not well maintained and beds had bed bugs. The room layout although large was open to the bathroom meaning smells were circulating the entire room. Toiletries had to be replaced after asking for them instead of proactively doing it. Not great, avoid.

The property - is well cared for . Garden, pathways & pool area are all nice to spend time in. Easy access to the ocean / beach . The hotel room is spacious and comfortable. Onsite parking & Spa services available. Buffet Breakfast had a great assortment &food was good. Staff were very friendly & professional. I would give hotel a low walkable score. They do offer some transportation to Old town.

A fantastic setting with a spectacular beach. Since it was off season the beach and the hotel were pretty empty and quiet. (I was lucky with great weather.) I found the food overpriced so I went into town to eat many nights, but enjoyed the breakfast buffets. The gym was had many machines, dumbbells and barbells. (I do wish the dumbells didn't jump from 12kg to 17.5kg, skipping 15kg.) Tiny issues in a very nice stay. Hotel was spotlessly clean and staff was always helpful.

To start with the entrance was breathtaking, amazing to look at especially during the night, the rooms were spacious and also beautiful to stay in. The location itself was huge so much exploring was done which lead us to the beach. It would have been nice to have more access to the spa and the rooftop to be more of a rooftop vibe but all in all 10/10. Food was great. Would be nice to read it to be an all inclusive. Staff were friendly and accommodating. I did not want to leave.

Positives: Roof bar staff friendly and well trained. Room: Bed & pillows comfortable. Nice size deck with chairs & table. Nice to watch sunrise with the morning coffee. Porter in entry when we arrived was very pleasant and helpful. Negatives: Front desk staff unfriendly, not professionally attired and not trained in customer service. Lobby unappealing and not a “welcoming space”. We travel a lot & have Expedia gold VIP status. At this hotel we were supposed to have a free bottle of wine (which was acknowledged by the front desk gal when we check in but it never came until we asked several times), a free room up grade if available (front desk didn’t even make the effort to appear to look), and a late checkout if available (we are not interested in extending our stay). Daily housekeeping service is dreadful. The same piece of broken soap has stayed on the floor of our shower for our entire stay so far. Towel replacement has been inconsistent (no facecloths some days). On arrival we had two coffee pods and two little chocolates in our room coffee maker supply box. The chocolates have never been replaced. Our balcony has bird poop splattered on the rail, floor and wall which remained for several days. Building is in disrepair and needs a refresh. Carpets in the hallway are all stretched and “wrinkly”. Walls need painting. Floor tiles need replacing. The breakfast buffet is “okay” - no fancy displays, flowers or added touches. Worth the stay for proximity to Sao Rafael beach alone. The spa was great with a very good circuit included with a treatment. Breakfast buffet included in the room rate was also fantastic. Will definitely return

Great hotel with 3 pools. Buffet breakfast is great! So much food and choice! Buffet dinner is equally nice. We stayed in 410 which is a great room with a living room. And 2 x bathrooms. One near the bedroom not much privacy within room but other bathroom is away from bedroom in lounge area. Good taxi service in area if you don’t have a car.

The grounds are beautiful, and the proximity to the beach is great. The pools on the property are very nice and the breakfast buffet amazing. The service staff were great and let us check in early on arrival. This hotel is 5 star in terms of its amenities offered, however not so much in the quality of those amenities. We paid the 10 euro (each) entry fee into the spa, without knowing that a few of the spa amenities were not in service - the spa itself was very poorly maintained, and looked as though it had been in a recent flood. The Turkish bath in particular smelled of mold. When I asked if the jets could be turned on in the larger spa circuit, the woman at the service counter explained that there is a button to turn the jets on but it is “calcified” so we need to push hard. We ended up only sitting in the jacuzzi for 5 minutes and leaving - no refund was offered even after I let them know if the smell of mold and the items that were not in service. Also, the dinner buffet was very mediocre for how expensive it was - 40 euros a person for dinner and this didn’t even include water (6-8 euros more!). The food menu for room service, the pool bar and the chill out bar were also all the same. We opted for room service on our last night and 30mins later were told one meal was ready but the chefs made a mistake and the other was not. Our option was to eat one at a time or have one hot mean and one cold. Overall, it is not a 5 star hotel. While beautiful, we would not be back.
