Business room with a single bed not a twin bed
The hotel has a nice lobby and it’s clean. Unfortunately I can’t say the same about the rooms, which look pretty old. I booked a room with a twin bed and at the end I was given a room with a very tiny one person bed. As I pointed that out and asked for a different room the receptionist said that that is what I booked. She didn’t even tried to give me any other option or even potential upgrade (for extra charge). As I finally checked my reservation it said that my booking was for one person but for a twin bed. A manager to whom I requested to speak, promptly solved the problem (thank you for that). But I didn’t even hear that she is sorry for the mistake. That would be actually nice. Apparently the description of the room in the hotel and in the app are not matching but this is clearly not a problem of a guest. The room I got was a bit smelly, as someone had smoked in it and try to cover it with air freshener but at least the bed was fine. For two people it would be very cozy. The way to the gym is very complicated. Bring some extra time with you. In general the staff wasn’t particularly friendly. The rooms are a bit old. It’s the only one hotel in the area. It’s ok, to stay there without any expectations for a short time I guess. The hotel in my opinion is too pricy for that what it offers.

Beautiful Berlin suburb!
This was my first visit to Berlin as a tourist (I've visited for work once before). The location seems far away from many of the city's more famous attractions, but the integrated public transport is so good here, the centre is just a short tram ride away. The rooms are a little dated, but were spotlessly clean and I lucked out with a large suite, complete with mezzanine floor and balcony. The hotel has a great beer garden and the area around it is peaceful and green, just a short walk from the lake. Also highly recommended is the Jewish Cemetery, which is also incredibly close to the hotel. Although it's not a busy suburb, there were good restaurants within walking distance as well. My only issue is that I could not access wifi in my room, so that may be a deal breaker for some! It worked fine in the lobby, but if you come to Berlin and spend all your time in a hotel room, you're doing it wrong!

The air condition in my room could not be turned off or down, when I complained staff told me to open the window to stop the AC, as it was a known problem. We asked for a room change but were told the hotel was full. The room was a good size

Comfortable hotel in quiet location
Lovely room with everything you need - especially like the little kitchen area. Very quiet location near the lake but only a few minutes from the tram. Excellent value for money!

We were driving from Warsaw to Hamburg. The hotel was just a 1-night stop. It was convenient, since we were close to the A10 highway and did not have to waste time in and out to Berlin downtown. Hotel is ok. Clean, but dated and a little tired.

A good stay at Living hotel
the overall experience at living hotel was very good, reception were very efficient and accommodating. The rooms do need an upgrade but were comfortable and location was good for the meeting I had.

A solid choice
Overall it was a great hotel for a few week's stay in Berlin. Within a 10-15 minute walk to the Albertinenstrasse and Antonplatz tram stops you had access to groceries and other shops, some decent restaurants, and the tram to U and S Bahn stations to explore the city. The business/single room was spacious, with enough furniture, clean bathroom, and a balcony. The kitchenette (2 electric burners, microwave, sink, and mini refrigerator) was decent. I was able to have breakfast, pack a sandwich for weekdays, and once in a while make a few basic dinners instead of eating out every night. The staff were friendly and professional. The biergarten behind the hotel was pleasant, a local friend thought the prices were a little high but not outrageous. Weissensee park is lovely. I would definitely stay here again.

friendly staff, close to public transport, amenities (like groceries, parks etc), nice, clean, quiet and spacious rooms. I would hope they provide moisturizer/body lotion in the bathroom which is a standard practice in all hotels in this category around the world.. I will stay again if opportunity comes.

Avoid 529, avoid the male at reception!!
Although the reviews are great and location is nice we found the hotel about average at best, check in was completed by a very abrupt male who shouted every instruction at my husband although he was 1 foot away, and when he said something even ther my husband or I understood he shouted CARD!! CREDIT CARD!! Even louder. We had abooked a double business room with city view and balcony, even called the hotel to confirm it, what we received was the darkest room with no balcony (529) facing a house wall and a tree!! Not expensive exactly a city view. The room was dated, apart from a new picture, the bed okay but only one pillow each!! I asked the house keeper lady for an extra one but it disappeared the next morning? The bathroom was very old, strange shower that you had to hold uproar gut with one hand as the head was at a strange angle. Food we didn’t eat, breakfast we were quoted €15 each per day so declined as a coffee and croissant is all we would have had wasn’t worth it. Overall for what we needed i.e. a bed and location it was okay, did we complain? Yes at first but as they said they were full and my husband checked for another hotel spending more money and not getting anything back here we just sucked it up. We would book again? No.

Excellent hotel in Weißensee
Living Hotel Weißensee was perfect for our stay. Tucked away in a quiet street but with easy access to frequent trams and buses meant it was the ideal location for our visit. Having a room with a balcony overlooking the small lake and park to the rear of the building made for perfect surroundings for having breakfast in the sun. Our room had a small kitchenette with fridge and cooker meaning basic self-catering would be possible. The lovely touch of having a couple of bottles of beer and water topped up in the fridge each day was welcome. The steam room facilities in the basement looked to be brand new. They were a great addition to our stay. Staff were all lovely. We would be very happy to return some time soon.

perfect for visiting friends
My friends live very close to the hotel - so it was perfect for visiting them - this was my second stay at this hotel. The room is comfortable with a great bathroom and a mini kitchen. The only downside for me this time was that my room didn’t have a sofa, which my room did last time. Staff are v helpful and polite and the bar has a good stick of gin!

The best Plus cheapest in Town hotel
Fantastic! The room was spacious even though it’s the cheapest, plus the room have a bath tub and a balcony with set of coffee table. LCD TV, aircond, carpet floor, and the best was their free smartphone for you to make free local/international calls and surf the internet all for FOC! Stay there for 4D 3N for less than £80 per night!

Excellent long weekend in Berlin
Great location with a tram stop in walking distance (7-10 minutes). Tram number 5 stops at Alexander Platz. The room has had plenty of space and modern facilities including a small kitchen The bed was very comfortable and we've have slept very well. WiFi worked without problems. A Netto discount supermarket just 2-3 minutes down the road. Parking is difficult on the road. You'll probably need to pay for parking under the hotel.

Good location, not far from public transportation, grocery store near by, nice suana, nice gym, good room service (beer and water everyday). Very comfortable, great staff and good price
