The place is kept very clean and the location is great with easy access to the heart of Berlin. My problem was with the service. When I arrived, I asked for an extra blanket. Apparently this was something the front desk woman needed to clear with the manager because she wasn't sure where the blankets were, if there were extra and if she could give me one for free. Her manager approved and I got a blanket. The next day my light wouldn't turn off. Meaning that for two nights the overhead light in my room was on. I asked the front desk woman about the light and she said she'd look into it. She even stated that she noticed a problem with the light when she put a blanket in my room the first day. When I returned that night, the light was still on and I ended up unscrewing the bulb so I could sleep. I told the woman that the light was still on when I saw her the next morning. She said she couldn't figure out how to turn it off. She didn't offer to move me, nothing. I figured she had spoken with the manager since she needed to clear giving me a blanket with the manager first. Nope! When I checked out, the manager was there. I told her I'd been unscrewing the overhead bulb at night to sleep. She hadn't heard from the other woman. She also wasn't concerned at all. Didn't say sorry or anything. I then asked if I could leave my bag with the front desk as I had a late flight. Nope. She said check out was at 11 and they couldn't help me. I'll stay elsewhere next time.

Minimalist hotel on 1s floor
Despite location, surprisingly quiet. However, remember to close curtains for privacy. Bathroom is small with timed shower., where water stops after certain periods. Wi if must be renewed on the 1/2 hour. Good location for exploring Berlin.

Honeymoon home for the week
We were a bit surprised as non-German speakers when we weren't staying near the Pension Absolut address in Prenzlaurberg (we stayed in the apartment Mitte. It is 15-20 minutes walking with luggage or a 5-minute S-bahn ride back. We took Über and it cost us €14!) but it ended up being a great location with plenty to do in the surrounding area. The wifi for the room never worked, but reception was quick to give us a 'vodaphone' password. They also gave a prompt response when we accidentally left the keys in the apartment, locking ourselves out for the day. The place had great heating and everything we needed for cooking and cleaning. And a hair dryer! Thank goodness! It was a nice little home for the week.

Great location in Berlin
The staff at Absolut Berlin are really friendly and helpful. The apartments are well equipped and clean with spacious rooms. Great location with local cafes restaurants and shops.

Great location
Overall it's good. I don't like its policy of charging Euro 2.50 for having fresh clean towels. My towels were not changed for the whole 4 days I stayed there. This policy should be changed to clean towels change every two days.

Very helpful and kind service, comfortable bed and clean shared bathrooms and kitchen. The only problem I encountered was that my room was very cold. I could not locate the heater. I had breakfast at the VITA Bäckerei two blocks down. Like most small German merchants the bakery does not accept credit card payments

Wir waren in Berlin, um den Sieg des FC Bayern zu sehen und zu feiern. Dafür haben wir eine günstige Bleie gesucht. Wir haben sie gefunden. Das Zimmer war gut, das Bad war gut, die Umgebung des Zimmers war gut: viele Einkaufs- und Essensmöglichkeiten.

This pension was outstanding in its pricerange. Friendly staff, clean, three bathrooms on seven rooms and a nice kitchen to use. The room was quiet, comfortable and spacious. The pension was close to public transportations of different kinds, stores and a nice walk from the city center.

Asiallinen hotelli hiljaisella kadulla
Asiallinen ja siisti majoitus, huone oli katutasossa mutta tienoo on hiljainen eikä liikenne haitannut. Kylpyhuone oli jaettu, mutta se oli epämukavuus, johon olin varautunut.

l'hôtel est bien situé dans ce quartier agréable de prenzlauer berg. Le personnel très agréable et serviable et la chambre très propre. Seul bémol, du coté des chambres privés, le signal wifi était trop faible et ne fonctionnait pas. Aussi,certaines chambres sont au rdc et donne sur la rue, ce qui peut parfois être bruyant.

Schöne Lage, aber recht laut
Das Hotel liegt sehr schön mitten im Viertel Prenzlauer Berg mit schönen Kneipen und Cafes in der Nähe. Leider befinden sich alle Zimmer im Erdgeschoss und die, die zur Straße hin gehen, sind nachts sehr laut, da ständig Menschen, aus den Kneipen kommend, vorbeilaufen und sich lautstark unterhalten, das ist sehr unangenehm. Die Zimmer zum Innenhof hin sind nachts auch nicht so toll, da die Vorhänge nicht lichtdicht sind und das Licht im Innenhof auch das Zimmer miterhellt. Die Ausstattung ist sehr schön und auch positiv anzumerken ist die kleine Gemeinschaftsküche mit Kühlschrank und Teekocher. Die Zimmer waren sehr sauber. Die Dame an der Rezeption war ziemlich verpeilt, aber naja, wir haben ja Zeit ;-)

Hotellet var utmärkt. Ligger i ett väldigt fint område och på en lugn gata. Personalen var jättetrevlig och rummet var rent och fint. De gemensamma toaletterna var väldigt fräscha. Det enda negativa skulle vara att personalen inte är på plats mer än till tidig eftermiddag.

Eine günstige Alternative
Die Pension geht voll klar. Das Bad/WC liegt über dem Gang, darüber muss man sich im Klaren sein. Als ich morgens im Bad war, war ich alleine und es gab keine peinlichen Begegnungen. Der Kontakt war sehr nett, haben unkompliziert und schnell geantwortet.

Hübsche kleiner Pension
Sehr unkompliziertes Einchecken durch Zimmercodes, welche wir vorab bekamen, da wir erst sehr spät in der Pension waren. Die Lösung mit den Gemeinschaftsbädern wurde auch sehr gut gelöst. Sie sind sehr nah zum Zimmer und WC + Dusche einzeln abschliessbar bzw. separate kleine Bäder. Sonst alles sehr sauber, ruhig und freundlich.

Hervorragend gelegen, stilvoll und gemütlich
Das gemütliche, stilvoll dekorierte und saubere Appartment an der Choriner Straße lag - genau nach unserem Geschmack - mitten im Szeneviertel Prenzlauer Berg. Wunderschöne Cafés, nette Restaurants und individuelle Läden waren allesamt in nächster Nähe zu finden. Schöne baumgesäumte Straßen, die nach Herbst dufteten und lebendig waren, ohne hektisch zu sein, luden tagtäglich zum Flanieren ein. Empfehlenswert ist der samstägliche Markt am Kollwitzplatz (in ca. 1,2 km) sowie das Streetfood Festival am Sonntag in der Kulturbrauerei (ca. 900 m entfernt). Ihr solltet unbedingt ein Tagesticket der BVG für Bahnen und Busse Tarifzone A+B erwerben - für nur 6.90 € am Tag (Stand Okt. 2015) könnt Ihr bis 03:00 Uhr morgens mit allen öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln kreuz und quer durch Berlin fahren, bis hin zum Wannsee :-). Preis und Leistung des Appartments sind stimmig und wir haben uns einfach sauwohl gefühlt, trotz 3. Etage ohne Aufzug. Die Kofferschlepperei ist es allemal wert ;-)!!. Jederzeit wieder! P.S. ein Radio ist alles, was wir vermisst haben - einfach eins mitnehmen! Gretchen und Tina
