Stylish comfortable hotel
Good location for the NEC. A bit tricky to find as the sat nav didn’t recognise the location and took us elsewhere. Nice room and helpful staff.

The best thing about this hotel is the staff, very helpful and sorted out a few problems quickly and efficiently. We were booked into a deluxe room but found it very small and unfortunately had been set up for only one guest , 1 cup and towels for one, only one chocolate. Hot water was also in short supply.

Fantastic hotel , extremely clean and all staf are very welcoming and are happy in there work , rooms are very comfortable and very clean , food is served freshly cooked and hot , with a great coice on the menu , staff are always will to help in any way and are very polite .. would definitely stay again and recomend to anyone visiting the area

Pleasant stay...would use again.
Pre-flight stopover. Conveniently placed a short drive from the airport. Comfortable, pleasant stay. Evening meal and breakfast were very good.

A hidden gem!
Had a lovely stay, greeted by very friendly staff, ate in the restaurant on the night of our arrival and it was excellent! Comfy bed, beautiful bathroom and an excellent breakfast the following mornin. Felt as though the staff couldn’t have done enough for you. Nice walk around the grounds before setting off. Will definitely stay again when we are in the area.

The best welcome I have ever had anywhere, great little room the cleanest I have seen of any hotel. This place is a real find, couldn't be more helpful, my late arrival sorted, quick breakfast sorted, great welcome and great room. I hope to stay again sometime.

Visiting the NEC, so the hotel was very convenient. Very happy with room and service, great food. Third visit! Only negative is that the entrance is on a duel carriage way with no access from opposite side of road. (No problem with noise though!)

Value for money and a pleasant stay.
The staff were very friendly and the room was clean and comfortable. There was a nice choice of food on the menu and my meal was fine. The full English breakfast was as good as I hoped it would be. I only stayed the one night on business but I would be happy to stay there again if I was in the area.

Boutique hotel best suited to adults - nothing on the menu for children (stayed with my sister and 12 yr old niece). Surprised the car park was so small as parking is highlighted and this was a key reason for choosing the hotel. Also surprised that no additional bed was set up which they knew we needed. Nice but overly furnished room (decorative glass bowl just got in the way!). Nowhere to put anything in the bathroom, could not adjust the radiator (way too hot) and had to follow bizarre instructions to run the basin tap before using the shower as there was an issue with the plumbing. However as these were typed and in a frame it made me wonder if this problem was ongoing or being addressed. Could not get wifi despite girl on desk trying to help - she said it was difficult. When we left next morning, despite being quoted price by Hotels.com, we were charged extra for the additional bed and told it was 'standard'. Complained but naturally have heard nothing and did not think much of the attitude of the girl on the desk, although the girl when we arrived was pleasant and helpful.

When you have to make a complaint (power drill running until after 18.00hrs) I do not expect the staff to be slagging me off with management a few minutes later (rather unfortunately overheard by me)

Lovely hotel good access to NEC
The hotel was very welcoming, the room had everything you needed. The food was excellent especially the evening meal, lots of choice for breakfast. Wifi was unreliable and intermittent which is the only issue with the hotel. I would recommend staying at this hotel for business and pleasure.

Great hotel and service was exemplary. Even though I was there for a week, I only had 1 dinner and it as very tasty and well cooked. Breakfast was superb. Only downside - I was in the new wing and had a party wall with the bathroom next door, So I was disturbed every time the bathroom was used. Would I stay again? - certainly.

Great place to stay for airport
Recently decorated and furnished to a good modern standard with a luxury feel. Excellent, large room and nicely fitted en suite. Good breakfast options thoroughly exceeded expectations. Very convenient for APH airport parking.

Lovely hotel in good central position
We have stayed at the hotel on previous occasions and have always had an enjoyable experience . The staff are really excellent and could not be more helpful. We were allocated room 26 this time in the new extension . There was an issue with hot water which took several minutes to come through on many occasions but the management are aware of the problem apparently and it is on the list for immediate attention. The staff are really the best thing about the Manor, I could not praise them enough. The food is of a very high standard, the breakfasts were nicely prepared and the evening meals very good should you require them.

Perfect if you're visiting the NEC
It's only a 10 minute drive to the NEC and you can save so much by staying at the Grimscote Manor with the same facilities, if not better! I advised I was going to check-in at 10pm and when I hadn't arrived by then, they called me to see if I was ok - how amazing is that? On checking out, the member of staff hand drew me a map of the quicker route to the NEC that the Sat Navs don't take you on - so kind! Highly recommend this hotel!!!

Great hotel hidden away from the main road
A great stay at this hotel which is set in lovely grounds. Family run so still got that personal touch. Everything that we needed in the room including a mini fridge. A fabulous breakfast on the Sunday morning. We would definitely return.

Hotel was decorated lovely for Christmas and seemed clean and well maintained that was untill we went into the ensuite and found the toilet had not been flushed or cleaned. The room itself was small but nicely decorated. The service in the restaurant for dinner was slow the food was ok but slightly overpriced for what you got. Breakfast was much better and the service a lot speedier and efficient.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. However, the food was poor. the menu was far too extensive for the small kitchen and staff to cope with. As a result I suspect the food was largely pre-prepared and microwaved. That is how it tasted, if it was not microwaved then it was dry and overcooked. A much smaller menu of freshly cooked food would be better. Breakfast was reasonable, but the first 7 of the bowels on the breakfast bar were dirty, and one of the cups on the table was dirty. The B&B/hotel is also rather awkwardly located on a dual carriageway, meaning that on our return in the evening we had to sit in a long line of near stationary traffic to drive past the hotel in order to turn around and gain access to the hotel on the other side of the road.

A well-run manor house with great breakfast
We stayed in the Brockington Suite for two nights, which was very comfortable and spacious. The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. It is a period house on lovely grounds and you can visit the hens that lay the breakfast eggs. In addition to a convenient location near easy access highways, the chef is excellent. We ate breakfast and dinner both days and the real cooked-to-order English breakfast was included and absolutely perfect. Dinner excellent too. Everyone very friendly and it simply couldn't have been a better stay. A very old-style English atmosphere in the best sense, with good heating and hot water plus free parking and wifi. I wouldn't stay anywhere else.

Convenient location, decor a little odd but staff friendly and helpful. Hotel very clean, large fluffy towels, no problem having fresh milk and even a fridge in room. Bed very low but comfy. Parking a bit of an issue. Fair breaksfast. Overall good experience.

High standard presentation, maintenance & service
Staff were incredibly attentive and helpful. The owners are accessible 24hrs a day, contactable by phone. Breakfast was freshly and competently cooked to order. Accommodating for late return to hotel and shown how to access property. Only very slight criticism is no information in the room about meal times or if possible to access reception by phone in room and during what hours. Having said that there was the number of the owners left in the room. Used it for instructions for the shower and got immediate response late at night.

Pleasant hotel near NEC (depending on traffic!)
Despite having building works going on to extend their already good facilities, I was pleased with the room and the hotel. It was convenient for the NEC. I am gluten/dairyand egg sensitive and the catering staff produced a good cooked breakfast without any fuss. The evening meal that I had there was also excellent and very good value.

Working at the NEC. Ideal location only 20 mins away. Very individual hotel - particularly if you love mirrors. Currently being extended and refurbished and my fantastic room was accessed through the building site. Going to be good when it's finished. Staff were very accommodating. just one comment. Difficult to find the hotel by night as the turning is off a dual carriageway and difficult to see in the dark!

Family run hotel which is ideal for NEC
I stayed here with a friend to visit an exhibition at the NEC. It is very convenient for the NEC although a little difficult to find on a dark night but we were given a warm welcome and the service was excellent. We enjoyed a wholesome well cooked evening meal and breakfast and made use of the beautifully decorated lounge to watch TV. We will be back next year.
