"The Intercontinental Budapest's location along the bustling Pest side of the Danube River is iconic. You are able to see the elegant Buda sights, while enjoying easy access to both urban pleasantries & no cost travel to your last minute whims or destinations - a hidden gem (tho $$$) is their great buffet breakfast club level overlooking the Chainlink Bridge!"

"The staff are amazing in being so helpful and wanting to assist with your needs. The room was beautiful and spacious compared to the room we had on the river cruise. The breakfast had a wonderful selection of hot choices as well as fresh meats and fruits. The only downside to this hotel was the pool area, there were no staff available in the area and there were used towels left from the morning that were not picked up from the cleaning services."

"Not sure we would want to stay there in the summer as the aircon is virtually non-existent. We slept with the window open as it was cool enough outside, but it was noisy. Also, the hot water did not work one morning - the staff were unhelpful in assisting us to understand what was happening (eg did not bother to answer the phone when we called down) and no one was apologetic. On the plus side, it's a good location and the breakfast was excellent."
