Just back from a very enjoyable 4-day mid-week break!!! The friendly staff were very accommodating when asking for items not readily to hand!! The food was excellent both in the main restaurant as well as the "Wine Cellar" and the vast selection at the buffet breakfast would suit even the fussiest of people (no, Not me)!! The room we stayed in was very clean and comfortable and the surrounding acres are great for walking although if planning a visit best to bring your wellies as the ground can be quite muddy during wet weather!! All round a great place to stay!!!
They hosted a dinner for 22 of our relatives and it was terrific. They also hosted a wedding for 230 people and a dinner for 90 fisherman. Service by all the staff was first class. We will be back.

It was our first trip to Ireland and I wanted to make it special for my 13 year old daughter by staying in a castle. The Cabra Castle was on route between Galway and Belfast (our next destination) so after looking at it on line I figured we would give it a try. Wanting it to be a surprise, my daughter did not want to see any pictures prior to our arrival. She (we) were not disappointed. We loved every minute of our stay. The grounds were beautiful and the castle was splendid...we had fun going throughout all the room discovering all the treasures within.
