"We booked two nights: regretted not making it three. It's just a 10 minute ride from the airport, the cab dropped us off at the check in: street level and 5th floor: the hotel cascades down the hill. Loved everything about this place: PERFECT location - we had beautiful quiet views of the bay on Level 3 but Level 0, which is the breakfast / restaurant level, is on the waterfront. You can easily walk two different ways to the main Cavtat waterfront (one way take 5 min, the othearound the cove 15 min). Just a 5 min walk to the buses that run all day long from Cavtat to the Walled City and from/to the Dubrovnik Bus Terminal for 4 Eur Our room was big, nicely appointed, bathroom was excellent, having a deck with comfy chairs a great treat. The breakfast buffet is excellent: lots of choice no matter what your preferences - and the views out over the water at stellar. Rooftop pool is not heated and it absolutely did not matter mid-April: it's only 1.5 meters deep, so it warms quickly in the sun: perfect temp for a dip. Staff was really nice, especially the clerk who checked us in (and out) - sorry I forget her name: young blond girl, very efficient & friendly. The hotel is very popular so we couldn't get a late check out but we stored our luggage from 11 a.m until 3 p.m in a room on the reception level. One quibble: pool bar bottled beer was a reasonable but the wine? A tiny pour over a lot of ice for 7 Euros Not great. Honestly the only thing I can fault in our experience. "
