"Great hotel. Renovated, clean and friendly staff. In the heart of the gothic quarter. Nice size rooms, large washroom, shower had great pressure. Mini bar. Complimentary coffee/tea in room. I had a room on the 4th floor, with a small balcony overlooking the plaza and a view of the marina. Great noise cancellation and black out curtains. Didn’t have breakfast, but enjoyed night caps multiple nights in the cocktail bar….fantastic bartenders, great atmosphere. Recommend!"

"Our stay at H10 Madison was disappointing and did not justify the price we paid. The hotel benefits heavily from its location, but beyond that, very little stood out positively. The rooms were surprisingly small and felt cramped, especially considering the premium rates charged. There was also little to no view, making the room feel even more enclosed. We understand that European hotel rooms can be smaller than those in the United States, but for a hotel marketed as upscale, the accommodations were underwhelming. One of the biggest frustrations was the elevator situation. The hotel has only two small elevators serving eight floors and a large number of guests. During busy times, waiting for an elevator became a daily inconvenience. It often felt overcrowded and poorly designed for the size of the property. The amenities were also disappointing. For the cost of staying here, we expected a much higher standard. Instead, they felt basic and failed to provide the experience that should come with a hotel in this price range. We also experienced maintenance issues during our stay. The lights in our room would flicker and fade unexpectedly, which added to the overall impression that the property is not maintained to the standard its pricing suggests. The only bright spots were the staff and the location. Every staff member we interacted with was friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. The hotel is also located in a great area that makes exploring Barcelona very convenient."

"The staff was friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and updated with great views of the Mediterranean Sea. The lounge and bar area had a nice relaxed atmosphere with lots of natural light. The only downside is I would not recommend eating breakfast in the hotel as it was very expensive. Lots of local options available just outside the hotel. All in all a great hotel that I will stay at again when I return to Barcelona!"

"I normally don't give reviews a second chance, but this place was very welcoming. There is a lot of construction happening around the hotel, but then again, it is the main downtown. We ignored the outside vendors and headed down to the plaza. The staff was amazing, the rooms, although small, were very comfortable, and after an 11-hour flight, we slept like babies! On our way back home, we stopped by for another night at the same hotel. We got in at 7 am, and check-in was not until 3. We just needed a place to store our luggage, but they had a room ready and were more than willing to let us check in with no additional costs. That allowed us to walk the town before all the other tourists showed up. The only issue that we faced was the loud slamming of the doors from other guests. It is posted on the door to "please shut the door gently," but some people do not read the postings. On my next trip to Barcelona, I will definitely stay here again!"

"This morning, one of the male staff members was extremely kind and helpful! He took care of our luggage and even called a taxi for us. We were having a difficult time because we were traveling with three children, but he helped us so kindly. Thank you very much for your excellent service and kindness! 😊 However, it was a little disappointing that there was no freezer in the room. Still, the staff were so friendly and helpful that it didn’t bother us too much. Overall, we were happy with our stay. 😊"
