Holiday season pushes hotel to its limit.
I love staying at this hotel and been here many times prior. Maybe it was because of the holiday season, but it lost its sheen a little. Rooms are starting to look and feel a bit dated. Our room smelled on the moment we arrived - I’m guessing it was the carpets. Food was lacking a little this time. Breakfast is still good but meals in the main restaurant was lacking its usual excellent standard. I’m prepared to give the hotel the benefit of the doubt but at €300 + per night per room, it can and should do better next time.

Great hotel. Got a room kind of last second. Late check in and early check out. Even with a short stay, I learned the staff was polite and helpful. Hotel was clean and quiet in the room, but a fun even lively atmosphere in the lobby bar and restaurants. Highly recommend.

I was shocked to have a badly stained comforter at a hotel of this caliber. Also, our room looked out onto their recycling area which meant for early morning (i.e. 5:00 am) wake ups as work got underway and obviously not a nice view given the price point. It took ages to get a taxi when we were leaving for the airport and in general just felt out of the way. Better suited for weddings than tourists. The staff were lovely though. Some new to the job but all working hard & very professional and thoughtful.

Maticulously kept property. Incredibly friendly staff that was the really good to my kids. Beautiful and peaceful property with delicious restaurants and a nice spa facility. Can not wait to go back again!

Good choice just outside Dublin
Comfortable room. We appreciated the sauna and steam room but the pool was full of children each time we tried to swim. Decent meal in the 22 bar. Staff were helpful in giving information on buses etc. 40 min bus ride to central Dublin

This was a very nice hotel, while I expected good quality, it was a level up from what I expected at this price point. I did not utilize amenities such as the spa or golf course, but the complimentary breakfast is amazing; any other hotel I've been at offering something comparable has charged extra. My only complaints, the room was a little small. We had a standard room, not a suite, so I did not expect a huge room, but the size was still a little smaller than average. And there was very little counter/shelf space in the bathroom, not nearly enough room for three people to layout all of their items.
