The hotel was mediocre. It was fine since we spent limited time in our room. Our kettle was fried so when we went to make coffee in the morning, we were smoked out. The toilet paper roll dispenser was broken, the sink was cracked in several places and the shower only worked if we wrapped a wash cloth around the diverter. We asked to have our room vacuumed but we were told the cleaning staff went home before noon. There is no fridge or ice. There were fun restaurants close by and it is walking distance to everything. So that was our highlight.
It was easy to get to the city center. Right beside a fantastic park.

The property was relatively affordable, the room is clean and a decent size. The staff was helpful and is close to public transit as well as some restaurants and local stores. The biggest problems are 1. There is no fridge and 2. The water pressure in the shower was less than it should have been. Overall still a really good experience.
The room was comfortable and very clean. Staff were good. The only downside was street noise due to traffic but this was easily overcome with ear plugs.
The Phoenix Park Hotel was a good option for a resonable price, decent locarion, there were options for dining around the corner and is walking distance to many of the Dublin attractions. The staff was very nice and helpful. No AC in the rooms but not unusual for the area. Bathrooms seem to have been recently remodeled.
Felt that the hotel was good in most aspects. Simple things like toilet tissue was cheap quality and could have done with more tea and coffee, and there were no biscuits.
Price is perfect. The rooms are clean and the bed was the most comfortable one I've ever had in a hotel. Just a little out side of the main part of town, but still very close to everything. Perfect location if you are going to the Guinness brewery.
We loved our visit to the Phoenix Park Hotel. This place is a gem, conveniently located near Phoenix Park within convenient distance to everything you may want to see in Dublin. The staff are absolutely the best. We were treated to great food recommendations, excellent directions, and great morning breakfast and conversation. Thanks to Lucia and Caroline for making this such a wonderful experience. I would absolutely choose this place again. I miss them already. :)
Was first given the wrong room but that was very quickly rectified with lots of smiles everything was lovey so was the lady at counter but she was a little to heavy on pushing her beliefs down my throat about Coronavirus and I was just trying to order a taxi. Was extremely friendly tho.

Our three nights at the Phoenix Park Hotel were good. The location is convenient for travel into the City Centre by tram. Also Hoeston railway station is nearby. Reception staff were friendly and helpful, beds were comfortable, and WiFi available in your room. All things considered, excellent value for money.

The staff couldn't be more helpful. We had a real issue with the showers and ended up using showers in 4 different rooms over 2 nights! They really need to sort their water supply.

Satisfactory for the price. Facilities more like a B&B than a hotel.

Room was badly lit, not helped by being decorated in a dark colour. There was a musty smell on arrival, had to open the windows to air the room. Had to get out of bed to turn off the bedside light and the tap in the bathroom leaked continuously. Overall at the lower end of 3 stars. Cheap price was the best feature.

We stayed at the hotel for the weekend. It was comfortable and cosy. We felt the breakfast times were too early. The room was nice, however, the radiator in the bedroom wasn’t working and one pillow was dirty. Reception changed this with no problem at all. Overall, we had a comfortable stay.

Not the greatest place to stay
The welcome was great ,the bed was comfy and after that it was all down hill. The bathroom tiles and the shower tray were chipped, the legs of the chair were very wobbly which made me nervous to sit on and i got breakfast included in the price to find that it was only a lite breakfast provided of which it was cereal or bread of which I can have neither so it was a very expensive small glass of grapefruit juice. Again the staff were lovely which was its only saving grace and it was clean.

Small home feel with clean rooms and showers. WiFi and breakfast included as well as coffee/tea, hairdryer, and outlet converters in room. My time was brief but I enjoyed how easy the location was to work with and the refreshing stop off while traveling through Dublin.

The room was very small but functional and clean. The location was perfect because we were a 5 minute walk from the mass transit system that took us all over Ireland.

Needed an overnight close to Heuston Station after a night flight into Duboin. This hotel is only around the corner with a direct bus from the airport.
Super friendly (and fast) check-in/check-out
Comfortable room
Will use again
