I've stayed here before on many occasions, but I'm afraid standards have slipped. Very laborious and slow check in. Then after walking to my room, neither key worked. I walked back rather irritated, and there was zero empathy. I then asked that the check in person organise to have concierge leave my back in the room (while I went to the lounge), which would also be a way to ensure the key worked! They agreed. But when I came back a little while later, my back was still at reception, so they didn't do what they agreed to do! Zero empathy again. Food finished way too early and bar closed early, with no explanation. Bar staff said they wouldn't make cocktails (that were on the menu given!). They were also cleaning up and hoovering and bringing industrial sized contraptions through the lounge whilst guests were trying to enjoy the lounge. Really not 5 star standards. Which is unfortunate, as I used to really enjoy staying there.
