"Very nice hotel. Staff is friendly & super helpful"
We stayed here recently and had a great experience. The staff could not have been nicer and gone out of their way to recommend restaurants, pubs and things to experience in Galway. Hotel is top notch. The only issue I could see were the dimly lit hallways might not be perfect for seniors with poor vision. We didn't have our folks with us so we loved the place.

Spent two days in Galway. Park House Hotel was very well appointed and staff was friendly. Only complaint is that the area to set down for valet parking is not clearly marked. Combined with construction going on in city center I had to stop and let my spouse out to find out where we had to go for parking which included leaving the city and coming back in because of one way roads.
This hotel was ideal for us. It had plenty of parking and was close to the town centre it is walkable but very easy to drive in with plenty of parking in the town. The hotel also has a very busy bar/ pub area and a restaurant . We were able to get a great meal in the pub area as restaurant stops serving at 0915. It was very busy with a real mix of young and old. It also has a great many craft beers which would appeal to all tastes. Do make sure you have a Galway Hooker (it's a beer).
Breakfast was great and very popular with a large number of non hotel residents using it.
Our room was of a good size with comfortable bed and all normal facilities. It is to the side of the the main building so get very little noise from pub.
The only downside for some is where it is, opposite modern office blocks and a busy junction. but we were not disturbed at all by traffic noise and slept soundly. Also it has a very busy pub which again was great for atmosphere so if you want somewhere quiet maybe not ideal but we found it a nice change from other hotels with no atmosphere.
So if you want a good hotel near to Galway with a great atmosphere, room, dinner and breakfast at a good price this is a great choice.
