Another amazing stay!
Another amazing stay at the Benefis Hotel, our third this year! Large, quiet, comfortable room with quality toiletries and a comfortable bed with quality bed linen. Breakfast is excellent and will set you up for a day out exploring the sights of the city. Staff is attentive and helpful with nothing being too much trouble. You would have to be very demanding not to like this small but perfectly formed hotel. As a bonus, there is a great little ice cream shop across the road from the hotel!

Great little boutique hotel...excellent location..
Wonderful hotel....but beware...our room did not have a fridge, no safe, no milk or milk powder for tea or coffee in the room...you had to get it from reception. Also another small point...there is NO free parking. , and you MUST book parkin g in advance.

The hotel staff was so friendly and went out of their way to help you. We enjoyed the breakfast every morning and had a wonderful reception when we were there. The area around the hotel offered shops and restaurants. Fresh fruits, flowers and bakeries were close by the hotel. Also very close was bus service to many points of interest.

Hotel Close to main attractions
We really liked the hotel it was very clean and and modern and the staff was very friendly and helpful, they even helped us book several day trips. The hotel was also located close to everything. We would highly recommend this hotel. We were particularly impressed with one of your staff Ewelina who made us feel at home and went out of her way to be accommodating.

short break in Krakow 22-25th March
We had a wonderful 3 night break in Krakow, the view from our room overlooked walwel castle, and lit up at night, it was like something out of a fairytale! Amazing value for money, the hotel really deserves more stars than the 3 it has. The 'room' comprised of an entrance area, large bathroom, sitting area aswell as the bedroom and a balcony. Absoloutely no hesitation in recommending this hotel.

I had a very pleasant stay in this hotel.Standard room on first floor with two twin beds was very spacious,clean and nice. Hotel has a restaurant in the basement with private section where you can meet with family or friends.Food and service there is very good. Breakfast with great selection is served there every morning. Staff at the front desk is very pleasant.

Hotel within walking distance of town centre
A lovely hotel in a quiet area of krakow, within walking distance of the centre. Accessable for the trolley bus and buses in general. The hotel was very clean and the staff friendly and very helpful. The restaurant was intimate and the staff polite and unintrusive. The food was of a high standard and very reasonable. There was a large selection of wines to choose from. A most pleasant experience.

We truly enjoyed our short stay here. The rooms were HUGE and the staff was all wonderful. The restaurant was very underrated- one of the best meals we had on our entire trip in Europe, for next to nothing. The hotel was really great and we will certainly stay again if we return to Poland.

This suited us - a short walk from the castle
We chose this as it is close to the castle and not too far from the old city. The rooms were excellent - numbers 35 and 16 and they were clean and in great condition. Good showers and comfortable beds. We enjoyed breakfasts which were European - no bacon and eggs, but plenty of cold meats, cheeses, breads and some hot foods.

We had a fabulous stay - everything was super!
Staff were really helpful and friendly and able to arrange trips for you at really reasonable rates from the 'man with the van from just a few doors down' - just a pleasant 15 minute walk into the centre of town. Huge rooms which were very clean. There is no tea and coffee making equipment in the basic rooms but there was in the suite. Was disappointed to find that the beds were single but we pushed them together - only again in the suite is there a double bed. Breakfast was delicious with a good choice, including eggs, sausages etc.. Thoroughly enjoyed our stay thought it was excellent value for money and would recommend it (and stay again ourselves should we return to Krakow). Bar manager kept the bar open as long as she had customers and the food and drinks were really cheap in the bar/restaurant. All in all a great stay!

Great find! We spent 4 nights on a city break. Our room turned out to be a suite, better than most 4 star hotels we've stayed in. Breakfasts were served in a lovely restaurant and consisted of a wide choice of food. The location was brilliant for sightseeing. I would recommend this hotel without hesitation.

The staff were great - very friendly, knowledgable and helpful. Superior room was spacious and comfortable - with bedroom, living area and shower room. Breakfast was very good - excellent choice, fresh and enjoyable. Overall a great place to stay in Krakow if you don't mind a pleasant 10/15 minute walk into the Square.

Lovely hotel with great facilities, great staff, very clean - all you could need for a city break. Food was very good and a huge range of food and drink for the buffet breakfast. It was quiet and away from the busy parts of the city. An easy walk to the Jewish quarter, the castle is very close and the Old town about 20 mins. Highly recommended

Very modern and tastefully decorated, we had a fantastic room with a living room making it a sort of junior suite. Lovely breakfast included in the price, but unfortunately can't comment on the restauant as there were so many places to eat out we had a walk to the main square and had something to eat around there. Staff were really welcoming and spoke good English which made things easier for us.

Rooms huge- very good value for money. Bathroom very nice and spacious. Good breakfast. Nice receptionist. Bit of a walk from the main market area. Overall, good stay, although we had no tea/coffee facilities or mini bar, both of which we were told we'd have when booking!

We stayed for 4 nights at the Benefis. Our room was more like a suite. The bathroom had a very nice, roomy and powerful shower. Breakfast was tasty, with plenty of choice. We had dealings with 4 different receptionists, all of whom were pleasant, polite and helpful.

A very nice hotel just the other side of the river from the main centre. This makes for lovely walks in and out of town with the Stunning Wawel Castle to gaze at. The rooms are very specious and nicely decorated which makes things welcoming. The rooms are cleaned very well too and the staff are really helpful and will do anything to help you during your stay not to mention very friendly. They couldn't help but laugh at my rubbish Polish! The only negatives where that the shower was a bit under powered and the room didn't have air con which was sorely needed as it was over 30c during our stay. This mean we had to have windows open which made for a disruptive sleep due the road noise outside. It also didnt help that you could hear the constant hum of the air con from the shop below us. A lovely hotel in a nice location (try the Pizza Garden round the corner, amazing pizzas and friendly staff!!), just a shame on the lack of air con and outside noise

Hotel was everything we were hoping for. We would have enjoyed it more had there been tea/coffee making facilities in the rooms. Not a major problem but one, all four of our party agreed upon.(To be fair I did not mention this issue to the hotel staff, so I don't know what their response would have been.) Location was just 15 minutes slow walk from the old town. Staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful. Service was very good with a hearty breakfast that set you up for the day. Overall, I would highly recommend this hotel to friends.

We loved our stay at this hotel. Clean room - breakfast very good and tasteful - the straff were very kind and helpfull - dinner very good. We want to stay at this hotel another time. We strongly recommand this hotel. Very quiet surrounding.

My fiancee and I stayed at Hotel Benefis, in the apartments (not the main building) for two nights. It was large, had great amenities, in a perfect central location. I would definitely go back!

Great find!
My daughter and I recently visited Krakow and did not want to stay in the old town because we heard that it could be very noisy at night and that the Cathedral bells ring every hour and on the quarters of the hour. Hotel benefis was only a 10-15 minute walk form the hotel , and we always felt safe. The room was large, the breakfast more than adequate.The front desk was very helpful and pleasant. Would stay there again.

not sure why this hotel is classed as a 3 star but from my stay it deserves a higher rating.i booked a 4 night stay 25-29 march 2013 and had paid for a superior room, this consisted of a large bathroom/toilet which looked newly refurbished, a large sitting area with flat screen tv coffee maker sofa bed and a large double bedroom with sliding doors for privacy if you were using it as a family room,breakfast was good with a good selection to choose from, the bar and restaruant are on the basement level,this is small but perfectly formed,i found the staff to be very helpful with any questions i had and they booked all of our trips for us. would return to this hotel without question.

Excellent small hotel
I booked this hotel for a surprise birthday trip for my husband, having read the reviews from previous travellers. We were not disappointed. It was an excellent small hotel. We had a large room, with a separate lounge area with sofa, tv, tea/coffee making facilities and very nicely furnished. The bedroom opened onto a small balcony - it was just a pity that we were visiting in March when the temperature didn't get much above 3c! The bathroom too was large, with modern fittings. It was all spotlessly clean. We had breakfast each morning, and there was a good selection of food to choose from. The reception staff were extremely helpful, advising us on the various tram routes and how best to get to the areas we wanted to visit. It is a good 15 minute walk from the main square, which is filled with lovely restaurants, cafes,, bars. Because of the temperature when we visited we did find it easier to get a taxi to the square, which only cost around 25 Zloty. I would highly recommend choosing this hotel.

The hotel Bifis was in a quiet location a good 15 minute walk to the square, although a pleasant walk across the River. The room was lovely much larger than i imagined. We booked our trips via Krakow Shuttle Service the taxi firm that brought us from the airport, I would recommend this

Quality stay at bargain price
For the price - best what you can get. It's a decent 3 star hotel, not so far away from town center as some reviews would suggest. Hotel was clean (although a bit more attention to bed making and more frequent bedding changes would be welcomed), staff very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a good spread, there was plenty of cold meats, cheese, hot local sausages and salads to choose from. 1 thing it lacked was scrambled eggs.On the arrival you'll get a decent city map and reception staff can give you advice on how to get to places like Wieliczka using local transport so it doesn't cost you a fortune. I would definitely stay again:)

Small and cozy!
We loved the staff especially Anna! Everyone was helpful. The breakfast was good. At night we would stop for a drink, it was nice having a restaurant in the hotel.
