the room i get was stuck under out the way of everything and when asked to change room on the next day i was told i had to paly 30 euro and it wood be Wednesday the room looker on to bins

All areas outside and around the pool were really well cared for. I had a balcony apartment which was basic but had electric kettle, coffee machine and microwave ( no hairdryer). This was a one bedroom apartment with comfortable twin beds and lots of storage and hanging space. The apartments are very close to sea front and shops/restaurants etc.. I found the location to be perfect. I would certainly come back again.

Great 10 Days
Had a lovely 10 days at Plaza Azul. Staff were very friendly and helpful, pool was fantastic. Only downside was the sunbeds, people were out all hours, late night and early morning putting towels on them!

The staff at the apartments were really welcoming and helpful. I stayed with my son for 4 nights and had the best time. Lovely friendly place to be. All the guests were friendly too which was a bonus. Apartments are a bit dated buthad the best sleep, beds were so comfy. Better than the hotel for the previous part of our holiday! Ben at the snack bar was so kind, generous and friendly. All in all, a good experience.

Staff were extremely pleasant & helpful. Apartment perfect for our needs. Location up quite a steep hill, but there's no rush, is there? Little supermarket yards away.

Great value for money!
Stayed here a couple of nights to meet up with friends at the end of our holiday. Apartment was clean, with towels provided. Spent most of the day by the pool which was well maintained and had plenty of sun loungers. Reasonably priced drinks/snacks available too. Would definitely stay again.

Stayed for 4 nights and 5 days, super pleased that the room I had had a sea front view. I thoroughly enjoyed how the apartment had plenty of daylight and ventilation. I also liked the fact that Plaza Azul was very closed to a corner store, open gym, and other restaurants. I would certainly recommend it to a friend.

Had a brilliant 2 weeks at plaza azul. Have stayed here several times and could never fault it so dont even bother looking for a different place to stay. Small mini market across the road and a large supermarket 200 metres away. Snack bar at pool is perfect for snacks and drinks and u wont find a better barman than benny. This man will do anything he can to make ur holiday comfortable, all staff in plaza azul are really nice and very helpful. Wont hesitate in returning again.

I had to return home after 5 days but paid for 2 weeks. I feel they could have refunded something. Facilities were very little, not even a hairdryer. Apartment very small but clean. Pool area was lovely and a nice little pool bar with a very nice man running it. The com0lex is well placed with a short walk to the beach, probably 5 mins. Reception staff really helpful.

It was in a grest location, 5 min from the main strip, all the music in the bars near there finished at 12. 30 so it was so peaceful at night, the apartment was spotless and the staff very friendly and helpful

Great wee hotel!!
Check in was quick efficient and friendly. Had requested a ground floor room and this was accommodated. Unfortunately the room (B26) did not get any sunshine on the terrace at any point during the day at this time of yea. Not a big issue from our point of view as their were beds available around pool or the lovely roof terrace with amazing views. The room was basic but had everything needed. Had half bath with shower over and always warm water. The bedroom had plenty of storage and memory foam mattresses which were comfortable to sleep on. There is a games room and a laundry room. The rooms were cleaned regularly and towels changed every other day. It is a 5 minute walk to the Strip and beach but it is quite an incline back up to hotel. This was our second time staying here and is a great basic hotel with lovely staff in a convenient location. Seems to be a great place for families with younger children though had a varied mix of holidayers staying.

I requested a balcony with pool view and sea view to rear of apartment which was granted as i got room 16A( upper apartment). Not much sun from front balcony and pool area had sun up till late afternoon but i loved sitting out rear balcony till around 6pm with plenty of sun. The rooms were cleaned everyday apart from a Tuesday and Friday. Rooms were kept clean but definitely need some refurbishment. Apartments are situated uphill from main strip which is less than a 10 minute walk.

Beware of the hidden charges
Accommodation is very basic, staff not friendly and they make charges for everything. There are basic items from the kitchen missing. No soap or toiletries in bathroom

Nice hotel, close to the front.
Rooms are a bit tired and dated but clean. The pool is nice and big and the not too big complex is well looked after. Me and my other half were the only ones staying there who were half board and it felt like it was a personal service. We really enjoyed the food and the staff looked after us very well, they were excellent. We will definitely go there again.

Good value for a 2.5 star hotel.
Overall it was good. Some of the rooms could use a renovation, however the hotel is not selling itself as a 4 star, so when you consider that then it is good. It is a pretty good location and easy to get in to the main town and the sea. There is a nice pool and upper sun deck that provides lovely views of the surrounding area. Some rooms are in better positions than others. It appears that some rooms get two balconies with morning and evening sun, while others only get a terrace. This may or may not be an issue depending on your preferences. There is an onsite bar which looks okay. When you checkout from the hotel, they provide a very nice shower room for guests, if needed. This is really useful if you have spent the day on the beach or around the pool and want to freshen up before your flight.

It was spotless and basic, but this is what we were expecting to pay for. Tidy grounds also and great location. Our difficulty came at check out because we had paid deposit to hire a safe and despite my checking that we would be covered for an early check out they day before, there was nobody there to check up out and refund us the deposits. We actualy had to go to a nearby hotel for assistance and they said it happens a lot. This was disappointing - particularly because I had checked in advance that someone would be there and was told yes.

Great value for money. The staff were so helpful.
This hotel is value for money. You get what you pay for the rooms are basic but fine. The apartments are all surrounding the pool so brill for just opening the door and sunbathing. If your going to puerto Del Carmen then you must visit Quintins restaurant great food

Hotel was basic but comfortable there was all you needed in the apartment the only thing we found was that we were there for five nights and our room was cleaned only once. The pool,gardens and surroundiing areas were kept well and the people running the pool bar were very friendly . We would certainly go back again, hopefully next year

Jammer genoeg was het appartement bij aankomst volgeboekt en moesten we 2 dagen in een verder gelegen appartement verblijven. De ligging van Plaza Azul is prima. Appartementen goed, maar wel wat onderhoud nodig., schoonmaak prima! Mooi zwembad en ons appartement was rustig gelegen.

j 'ai apprécié l emplacement de l hôtel proche de la mer avec piscine et la facilité pour se garer. Tias est très bien situé pour visiter l'ile. L'établissement est très propre. le ménage et lits ont été faits 3 fois dans la semaine, le personnel très gentil. Je recommande cet établissement.
