"Family reunion"
Our family held a reunion in Las Vegas to celebrate our mother's 90th birthday. Some of us stayed at the Bellagio, while others stayed at other Strip hotels. I really like the hotel location, room/bathroom size, the comfortable beds, the nightly turndown service, and the general ambiance, I had requested the use of a wheelchair for our mother, and one was reserved and waiting for us at checkin. The staff made our stay very enjoyable and memorable. And the Bellagio water show is always a highlight.

"Excellent Hotel not to be overlooked !"
We had an excellent stay , beautiful hotel , clean and the bed was amazing . Great view of the pool , quiet. The only draw back is the wifi quiet slow and the business centre closed at 4pm that centre should be open 24/7 . The food is also very good we had the chocolate pancake at the Pantry , one word to describe them AMAZING it's a must and really big plate as well , we would have been full sharing one plate . The BLT Burger is delish , we had lobster roll (3) to an order and they didn't skimp on it and we shared the Wagu burger , it's the best burger we ever had and we are from Alberta we know beef! The Craving buffet with mimosa (all you can drink mimosa or champagne) for weekend brunch or with wine or domestic beer for dinner , lots of variety and actually really good . Overall grade A+ we will return to this hotel and resort.

"Last minute unexpected trip great hotel"
Our flight was delayed so southwest flew us to vegas. We stayed here 5 nights. The hotel is very nice for being at the end of the strip. There is a bus you can get a 24 hr pass for $8.00. The other great benefit to this hotel only has a $17.00 " resort fee " (most are 28-35). They upgraded our room to a premium and it was perfect. I do want to thank Freddie the manager for his prompt attention to the lights being out. I also want to make sure the housekeeping supervisor on floors 17 & 18. She is amazing and was so kind. Great lady to talk to. She is so helpful and made sure we had everything we needed during our stay. The diner is 50's style and the wait staff are awesome!!!! They have the restaurant at the top as well as the look out with rides. If you are crazy enough you can do the sky jump of the 108th floor. The view is beautiful from the restaurant. Over all do yourself a favor and stay at this hotel it is not in the middle of the strip but it is such easy access and the price is right. I have stayed at several in Vegas and this is just a nice as the more expensive ones.

We stayed at the Excalibur for 4 nights, and had a great experience. The staff were all very nice and helpful. The room was clean, nicely updated and our non-smoking room didn't have any smoke smells like some of the other hotels we've stayed in. The Camelot restaurant is nice, with excellent food and service. The spa was relaxing and a nice way to spend an afternoon. It was a little cold for the pool, but the jacuzzi was nice. Overall, we enjoyed this hotel and would stay here again.

Very nice place. New, inviting, hip. Not too big, and in a centrally located spot. New owners did a lot more than a new coat of paint and rearranging the casino. Top to bottom, inside and out, it was effectively a new hotel. We stayed Thursday thru Saturday nights and did our usual... drove around to places we wanted to see. Parking was easy and plentiful. The location was great because it was at the end of the 'strip' which kept the traffic down and it was a quick jump off the freeway. The casino was very clean and well staffed. There was a couple nice restaurants which had decent food at expected prices. The pool was closed, but looked nice. Piano bar was cool. Great coffee at 'Perq.' The room was nice and we booked a basic room. Not a suite, and was a little small-ish, but was comfortable and well appointed. But for the price, it was very nice. SLS is recommended for travelers that drive in Las Vegas. We commented that SLS is like the hip little brother to the Hard Rock who has style and all the girls.

We had a good stay. Steak house was very good; good service and good food. Room was clean; couldn't hear any thing from the rooms next to ours. Gambling was good; Roulette and Craps table were all good.

    Pocket Guide: Las Vegas

    Entertainment capital of the world

From space, Las Vegas is the brightest city on the face of the Earth, and it's easy to see why. The lights and spectacle of the main strip are recognizable across the globe and have become synonymous with spectacular entertainment and glamorous nightlife. Whether you're taking in the sight of the fountains at the Bellagio or marvelling at the gravity-defying feats on display in Cirque du Soleil's KA show at the MGM grand, Las Vegas promises a great time for all.

Hailed as the quintessential Las Vegas show, Folies Bergere at the Tropicana captures the essence of sexy, classic Las Vegas with its scantily-clad showgirls and spectacular dance routines. Also unmissable is Cirque du Soleil's Mystère, an extraordinary show which explores the origins of life through an unforgettable mixture of dance, acrobatics, music, opera, and comedy, and plays to sell-out audiences at the Treasure Island Hotel and Casino.

    Win big in Sin City

No trip to Las Vegas would be complete without a visit to one of the many iconic casinos which have served as the backdrop to many a Hollywood film, including 'Ocean's Eleven' and 'Diamonds are Forever.' Visitors can play a game of roulette under the magnificent frescos of the Venetian, and then enjoy a drink at Coyote Ugly in New York-New York. However, the casinos aren't just about the gambling. The striking architecture and unique design of the buildings mean that you can enjoy a day of sightseeing without setting foot inside.

Gambling is the key to the Sin City's economy and attracts people from all over the world, all of whom are seeking their fortune. The central strip never sleeps, with most of the casinos open 24 hours a day, and most venues offer live entertainment and free drinks to those brave enough to play throughout the night. Different casinos offer different stakes, so it's advisable to start small before heading to the high-stakes tables of the Bellagio and the Riviera.

    Feats of man and nature

For a fresh-air break from the gambling, true thrill-seekers should be sure to check out the Stratosphere, which includes the tallest thrill ride in the world. The ride ascends past the peak of a skyscraper over 329 meters high, offering magnificent views of the city, before plummeting down to the roof of the casino. It's definitely not one for the faint-hearted.

For those seeking an escape from the non-stop chaos of the casinos and shows at the main strip, the Hoover Dam is located 30 miles south-east of Las Vegas. It towers a staggering 700 feet above the Colorado River and represents one of the finest achievements in modern engineering.

Across the border in Arizona lies the Grand Canyon, which is an impressive 277 miles long and almost a mile deep. This national park is a feat of nature and holds a variety of museums and information centers, as well as caves, forests, and grasslands.
