"Disappointing Stay – Would Not Recommend I recently stayed at Dom Oliwski in Oliwa, and unfortunately, the experience left much to be desired. For a room booked for three people, the tea and coffee facilities were shockingly limited: just three tea bags, no coffee, no sugar, no milk – and not even any cups. "We stayed in an apartment building, which is around 50 meters from the hotel entrance. Nicely designed, clean and still looking pretty new. There is a kettle, an iron, cutlery and a microwave in case somebody prefers to eat in the apartment. You can also use the spa in the hotel itself and enjoy the good drinks in the bar. The hotel is centrally located, and there are lots of options for dining out just a few steps. We had breakfast each morning in a local restaurant, which is cheaper than buying it in the hotel, and it is local food. What annoyed is that even with closed windows and turned on A/C, you can still hear the noise from the street as all the bars and restaurants are just under your window. Therefore, earplugs are a must. The rest was wonderful, and I consider staying again in this hotel."

"Our room was on the top floor, and the internet connection was very weak. I raised this with reception. I didn’t specifically ask to change rooms because we only had one day left of our stay, but no alternative or room change was offered. I was simply told that nothing could be done at the moment and that she would speak to the relevant people. While that may help future guests, it did nothing to improve our stay as current customers. Another disappointment was that the hotel was advertised as a 3-star property when I booked, but it was actually a 2-star hotel. The location is convenient for the airport, but it takes around 25 minutes by bus to reach the city centre. Overall, I was disappointed with the service and would not stay here again."
