"our favorite hotel of a 3 week trip"
We were given one of the 'golf suites' which we loved--it was spacious and private. The grounds of the hotel are gorgeous--a lovely backdrop for my daughter's senior portraits. We especially loved the resident ostrich!

"Nice and cozy b&b near Dublin"
We felt welcome. The host was very Friendly. The room was not so big but pleasant and clean. The bathroom is fine. Good douche, good beds. We had a room at the back of the house that was very quiet. In the front of the house you can have traffic noise. The cooked breakfast is made fresh and was very good. We loved staying at Moat Lodge. Lucan is a small village, but pleasant with a good restaurant. The bus is round the corner and brings you in 20 minuten to the centrum of Dublin. There are many busses every our. We liked it very much at Moat Lodge.

"Nice location...a bit old"
The location was perfect for getting out of Dublin and the staff were quite helpful and pleasant. The restaurant/bar were terrific for enjoying a summers night outside. The room was good and clean. It was a bit warm however which didn't improve with the open windows due to a lack of breeze. If returning to Ireland, we would choose this hotel again.

"Great Hotel"
The hotel was excellent, The staff was exceptional and the room was clean. Some of my family had rooms without air conditioning but my room was fine. Maybe you should ask about air conditioning.

"Nice hotel, walking distance to small town "
Had a two night stay at the hotel and enjoyed it. The hotel is nice and modern with a lovely restaurant and two nice bars. We were upgraded to an executive room on the fourth floor however I was slightly disappointed. It was not what I would call "executive"- it had a nice modern flat screen and our view was fine but the room and bathroom were quite dated and tired. Upon viewing a standard room I felt it was nicer! Much more cosy and modern. Hotel staff very helpful and friendly. Spa was nice enough. Plenty of steam rooms and a nice sauna with a lovely circular pool however the walls were peeling quite a bit. Overall I would come back to this hotel.

"An excellent base from which to visit Dublin."
Reception: always a warm greeting, combined with efficiency and very helpful advice. Foyer and public areas: plenty of stylish clean comfortable annexes in which to relax. Rooms: comfortable, spacious, and quite well-equipped. Meals: excellent food, whether pub-grub in the bar or cuisine in the restaurant. Breakfast, especially the full-Irish, was a real treat. There's also a steakhouse next door. Parking: acres of space. Transport: only twenty minutes from Dublin centre by tram (ie the Luas light-railway). The tram station, called Red Cow, is only 10 minutes away on foot, and still only 20 minutes away for my elderly knee-replaced parents-in-law. A flexi-ticket for the tram is very cheap, enabling unlimited tram journeys for the day into, around, and back from, Dublin. These tickets are vended by machines on the platform. The machine's menu is simplicity itself to follow, and payment is accepted using credit and debit cards.
