The room was advertised as suitable for 4 people but the beds we too small to fit two adults comfortably. The room was dirty and had not been cleaned properly after the previous guests and was not cleaned adequately each day - dirty cups were not taken and dustbins were not emptied. By the pool tables were not cleaned and outside dustbins were not emptied regularly. You had to pay for the kids club which was surprising. A very disappointing stay and definitely NOT a 5* hotel. I would not go back again.

A good time to book a stay
My second stay at the Hotel. All was very good overall, room quality & comfort, staff service & friendliness & the layout of the Hotel with its beautiful green areas. One comment was that due to the pandemic, there is no breakfast buffet. Unfortunately, the alternative menu was not prepared well. However, I stress that this was due to current circumstances. The Hotel was mostly empty & for this reason, for guests this is a perfect time to visit.

The hotel renovated the common areas and some parts of the rooms but it was all mainly cosmetic. The guest rooms bathrooms are old and worn out and the property shows signs of wear and tear everywhere. The grounds are nice but require more maintenance and while the staff was really nice they were understaffed. I’m not sure this is a 5 start property compared to some of the other choices in the area.

Fabulous service and beautiful hotel.
Absolutely fabulous service at a gorgeous hotel. The staff were all so friendly and polite and treated our two kids so well. The spa is beautiful and the spa circuit represents great value. Location very convenient for Marbella and Benahavis - especially if you have a car. A couple of little niggles - no water in our room , slightly untidy terrace area (bottle caps from previous guests I assume) and Do Not Disturb ignored (crucial with napping children!) but everything else was so good we could happily overlook. Our daughter loved the pool and it was a quiet haven in the morning. The staff absolutely make this hotel - true 5* welcome and service.

I didn’t like that he kids club wasn’t open. We chose this hotel partly because of this part and we never got to use it. Also the pool is not heated. Everything else was great

This hotel is in a beautiful area. The hotel is gorgeous and the golf course is great. The buffet breakfast was delicious and huge. We had an amazing time and could not have been happier.

Property was beautiful! Stunning mountain views. Staff was very helpful. Only thing that needs an upgrade are the bathrooms in the rooms. Besides that hotel is perfect.

Lovely hotel with efficient and friendly staff.
Beautiful hotel, peaceful and well maintained. Staff are very efficient and helpful. Only one suggestion to make this hotel even more attractive - don’t charge for hotel parking. The shuttle service was very good but a car is a must in this location.

Most of the staff are friendly but there are a couple who are miserable. The size of the rooms are excellent however the room condition is tired and scruffy. The bathrooms definately need updating and cleaning properly. The rooms have. Been refurbished but only parts of them are new, the rest has just been given a coat of paint. There was only 2 TV channels in English and the hotel really should have Sky or something similar. Internet was good. Hotel was incredibly noisy and I would not recommend this hotel for a relaxing break .

Lovely hotel, grounds and staff!
We have just returned from a fantastic week at The Westin La Quinta. The hotel is lovely - decor is typically light and airy inside and room size was great - we had two double beds and a sofa bed in our room and there was still plenty of room. The bathroom was also a good size with bath and separate shower cubicle. The grounds are well maintained with lots of trees and greenery and a small pond which is a nice feature (it also kept our kids entertained at night counting the fish and frogs!). The swimming pool is a good size and has a shallow end for kids. There is a pool-side bar which serves cold drinks and you can also order food too. The hotel is roughly a 10 minute drive from Puerto Banus and about a 20 minute drive from Marbella. This is where the hotel shuttle bus comes in handy and is a fantastic little service - all you have to do is book a slot at reception, choosing from the departure and return times on their timetable. The hotel staff were all so friendly and helpful - they really made us feel very welcome. We will definitely return to this hotel in the future.
