Never been to Manchester so did not know area but just seemed a dark area if I was on my own. The hotel was great. Check in was flawless & Cipri on reception was so welcoming & professional & answered all my questions. The rooms were also very nice & would have no problem recommending this hotel to anyone.

I stayed at this property with my friend for one night to attend a concert. Location wise this hotel was great as it was only a 5 minute walk to the o2 ritz arena. Check in was quick and simple, you have the opportunity to check in via a tablet or go to a staff member instead. We checked in with the staff as this was quicker. The staff member on the desk was super friendly and welcoming. The room was a decent size, lots of space to move around. The bed was a superking and the bathroom had everything you need. The lighting is quite dim in the room but this is to be expected in winter. The room was clean however it wasn’t cleaned to the highest of standards. Two of the pillows on the bed had stains, one of them stained with what looked to be dried blood and the bedsheets underneath also had stains, these looked like bleach stains presumably from the cleaners. The staff on shift however were polite and came to change the pillows no questions asked. We were also offered complimentary breakfast because of this. If you need an affordable place to stay in the city centre this is a decent hotel, it would just be better if it was cleaned to a higher standard.

24/7 reception and city centre so 10 minutes walk to almost anything. Only issue was that my mug for my drink in my room had coffee stains on and so was not cleaned properly from the previous occupiers. Room in general was spacious and clean with hair dryer and amenities.

Comfy bed!
Rooms are decorated very nicely. Could do with a little renovation in the bathroom as some areas of paint were peeling/cracked in places. Location is great very handy for my works night out at the Gmax which was just across the road. Bed was very comfortable and lovely and fluffy duvet, was a good night sleep and quiet even though I was at the front of the building towards the road. Didn’t hear anything

Our room was no bigger than a cupboard for £278 a night. Hotel is in poor condition and the rooms are tired.

I could walk to downtown. I could do all the meetings at Manchester University. Was affordable for a government servant. Was easy to meet up with colleagues in so many nice restaurants in near vicinity.
