Great location and so close to Universal. Very walkable. The pool staying open till 10 o’clock at night was awesome. The poolside DJs are great. Loved the games especially the 45 min frozen towel thaw game that help solidify friends the rest of the stay.

Great hotel and easy access to the Universal parks. Rooms are quite small, especially with two teenagers. Corridors at nighttime are a playground for kids and drunken adults. We heard lots of screaming and shouting at 2am most nights. Pool gets busy so don’t expect to find a decent sun lounger after 1pm.

Dated rooms & bathrooms. Staff was friendly however service at the pool restaurant was slow. Under staffed. We ordered a bottle of Prisoner wine at the Velvet bar after our cocktails. Took 10 minutes. We were also charged an extra drink on our tab which we noticed. It was taken of bill. As Tampa residents, my wife and kids enjoy high end hotel stays once a month regardless of cost. This was not a great experience we would expect This did not justify the cost

Hotel is close to universal parks but still very pricy room despite offering express passes for rides. $7 for 1 water bottle is ridiculous when other hotels offer 2 free water bottles per room. Charging outlets do NOT work beside beds in the room I stayed in - would NOT recommend this hotel to family and friends!

We received a friendly welcome on arrival and were able to check into our room early. We stayed on Club Lounge level 7 which was definitely worth it for us. We were able to have breakfast, snacks, desserts, drinks and even small meal for dinner on occasions. Coffee was good. We mostly took this back to our room as it was often to busy to sit in there. Happy hour offered a variety of beer and wine options. Our room was spacious and clean and the beds were very comfortable. The club rooms dont offer a pool view however we had a lovely view of the Butterfly Garden and Lake! No balcony. We didn't use our coffee machine as we had coffee and tea options all day in the club lounge. The foyer is huge and has a good vibe with music playing, a gift shop and they offer pink lemonade and lemon water during the day which is refreshing after a day out! Water taxi is convenient when it happens to be there as you are leaving for parks otherwise it seems like a 15 minute wait.The walk is very close to Universal Studios! You will be required to put your belongings through security either boat side or park side to enter the City Walk. Pool is great and we sat on the sandy beach side. You can scan for the bar or food menu and it is brought to you. The pool isnt very deep in any part so beware if you are an adult trying the slide you do hit the bottom. They showed a movie at night which is fun! Plenty of towels available pool side. We loved the location and convenience of the parks!

Little dissapointing for a premium hotel.
Standard small size room. Dusting in places but otherwise ok. Had a flat roof with very little other view out the window and workers on the roof first thing in the morning....not a very pleasant way to wake when you open the curtains to some strangers outside looking in. Convient for the parks and the express passes were a bonus.....otherwise not worth the price tag at all.
