Excellent hotel, fabulous location, wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the newly denovated suites in a building a couple of blocks away from the main building (also in the Spanish Square), if there is anything to note it's that the building is not connected to the main building and it's a 3 minute walk away. Also, the elevator in the building with the new suites only has one stop - the 4th floor, then you have to walk down to the suites on the 3rd floor. This was not an issue for us as we loved being in an older building and used the stairs, however thought I would mention that this as it's not for everyone.
Stayed 3 nights; small but comfortable room; great staff; good breakfast; Wi-Fi not great in the room but fine in the lobby and breakfast area; close to the Termini rail station and plenty of restaurants nearby.
Staff were friendly and noticed at check-in that it was my husband's birthday; he received a complimentary bottle of prosecco! The "chef on call" innovation deserves support. We dined twice on the sixth floor with a stunning view over Rome, St Peter's included. Again there were surprises, an aperitif and a glass of limoncello to complete our delicious meals. Our room was quiet with immaculate bed linen and a spacious shower room. Astonishingly reasonable mini bar prices. Easy to walk to all the main sites and shopping areas. It was our first visit to Rome and we hope to return to the city and the Hotel Barberini soon.
This hotel is excellent. Great location to city. Quiet even though room faced the street. Trams/buses running past the door. Buy tickets from tabac just along the road. Good restaurants close to the hotel. Very helpful staff, great facilities and excellent value. We had a triple room, air conditioning, good bathroom facilities, lifts. No problems storing luggage after check out.
The hotel staff was very helpful and lovely. When we checked in we were given a very big apartment which was absolutely amazing, very nice surprise!
Just one thing I ought to mention, we were not told about tourist tax when we checked in, nor any information on website about this additional fee.But over all experience was lovely
