Very nice hotel that is less than 1 street block away from train station, yet you would never know it. quiet and not a lot of people around. Brekfeast was great and a cup of hot cappaccino is served when you take your seat.
staff very pleasant and VERY helpful.
Will stay there again
Good: The location was great, very close to the main Termini station for airport and many other transport links and within easy walking distance of a number of sights. The staff were very friendly and helpful, even when we arrived early. We were able to leave our bags with confidence and they even placed them in our room for when we got back from exploring a few hours later. There are a number of restaurants on the same block as the hotel and the one directly next door had phenomenally good food at reasonable prices.
Not so good: the room we had was a little dated and worn with a few missing tiles in the shower but it was very clean. The noise insulation between the rooms wasn't brilliant but didn't disturb us when we were trying to sleep
Excellent central hotel, very comfortable and classic. Beautiful decor. Being close to the famous sights eg 10 minutes walk to Trevi fountain, we were concerned that it might be noisey but very calm and quiet. Definitely recommend this delightful hotel, a great base for a trip to Rome. A lovely buffet breakfast.
Excellent hotel, fabulous location, wonderful stay. We stayed in one of the newly denovated suites in a building a couple of blocks away from the main building (also in the Spanish Square), if there is anything to note it's that the building is not connected to the main building and it's a 3 minute walk away. Also, the elevator in the building with the new suites only has one stop - the 4th floor, then you have to walk down to the suites on the 3rd floor. This was not an issue for us as we loved being in an older building and used the stairs, however thought I would mention that this as it's not for everyone.
For a first visit to Rome this hotel was located within 20 mins from major attractions. Everywhere was easily accessible either by tram, bus, taxi, or on foot . The hotel had a lovely entrance area and all staff were warm friendly and cheerful.
On several occasions staff helped make bookings for local attractions and helped identify the best routes for us to take and the transport services available. For security the main access to the main hotel was through separate security doors accessible by our room key and over looked by the reception desk which was constantly maned. Our bedroom on the first floor, was elegant, compact, and had comfortable beds. The room had a tiny balcony which overlooked other traditional buildings but was too small to sit outside. The bathroom was elegant and well equipt with a turkish shower to use. The room was equpt with a tv, tea & coffee making facilities, mini bar, safe, hair dryer and complimentary toiletries. The room was clean and had plenty of lighting choices. The room temperature could be self managed and was comfortable. We had breakfast buffet and there was a varied cooked and cold selection which was well stocked and fresh, with ample hot and cold drinks selection. The roof garden bar had a modest selection of drinks both alcoholic and non alcoholic and plenty of private seating arrangements. Over all a very enjoyable experience.
