The building is in a good location but it is really old and in need of maintenance/refurbishment. We stayed for 3 nights/ 4 days and incredibly didn’t include daily room clean and only got toiletries enough for one person one night, when I asked in reception they said minimum 1 week stay qualifies for room cleaning. So in the end had to go to reception everyday to get soap/shampoo/towels Separate lift access card to the room key and they get damaged easily, again requiring a trip to reception. They have spa, sauna and pool but spa was not working and sauna looked a bit in bad shape and sauna amenities quite dirty. Only positives, location in front of Hyde park and near museums, and view from roof top pool.

Good location for walking, train and bus links. Supermarket nearby. My only criticism would be not enough storage space for clothing if you are staying for longer than a few days

Not enough cutlery and crockery, curtains terribly dirty and stained, could not lock patio doors on first night and had to sleep worried about safety and no alternative room offered, patio furniture dirty and dusty and just so disappointed as we have stayed there many times over the years because of its convenience.

Comfortable, strong windows block car noise. Staff ok. Aircon/heating a bit hard as would not adjust so two lounge room windows open to let some air in while in the unit made it comfy. Would go back again. The view of part across the street was so nice.

The Property felt very run down, something that a lick of paint throughout the whole building would make a big improvement, cigarette burns in the curtains shows that the rooms can’t be inspected properly after each new customer. Just a general feel of grubbiness throughout. Pool and Spa wasn’t bad on the roof but even here scum marks around the water line.

Very run down compared to Oaks I have stayed at in past. The corridors are very dirty. The A/C in the room struggled with the heat on the windows and throughout the night with the room door shut either hot or cold. The plus was the receptionist and the location. And $50 to park in a very tight confine........

Can't recommend this place. While the apartment was large and well cleaned albeit basic, the noise from outside busy streets and traffic was constant and unbearable. No double glazing on any windows and a bedroom on the corner of Liverpool and Oxford streets meant every night's sleep here was terrible. Get some noise suppression measures or double glazing people!

This hotel is in a beautiful location being nearby Hyde Park. It is an easy walk to the Museum train station and various bus stops. The gym, while limited with equipment, was clean and the machines looked brand new. The kitchenette was clean and well-stocked. The hotel just needs a bit of TLC, parts are starting to look a little worn out. One of our bath towels had a hole in it, some paint was chipped in the rooms and hallways. The swimming pool water was not clear, or appeared inviting.

Location is ideal, directly opposite Hyde Park, short walk to Museum Station, Capitol Theatre, and plenty of restaurants. Ideal if you’re catching a train from Sydney airport. The hotel is old though and can seriously do with a touch up.

Perfect place for family travellers
Right next to Sydney Hyde Park. Close to the city center, only a 30min walk to the Opera House. The suite had two bedrooms with one king bed each. Perfect to accommodate 4 people though we were only two. The kitchen is extremely good. With the facilities listed in the introduction, it also has: a frying pan a pot spoons, forks, and knives a dish washer and an oven I really enjoyed staying there. The only weak point is that it has only one bathroom. So If you travel with 4 people you will have to wait a while for everyone to take a shower.

Requested Park view & was told it depended on availablity, arrived & was given great room with park view on 8th floor, fixtures could do with updating, bathroom had step into bath to have shower which is unusual nowadays but was not a hassle. Occasional slamming doors in hallway, but that happens nearly everwhere you stay. Was close to everything & although TV was in room, never had time to use it. Would recommend & stay again for sure

Great big huge comfy bed.Kitchenette was very handy. Spacious room with comfortable furnishings and lighting.Parking is expensive but same anywhere. At least there is the option to park on premises.Didnt sleep too well with traffic noise as windows dont quite seal and are not double glazed
