The property is ok. Matress was thing and hard. No conditioner, no coffe in the room. No elevators, youbahve to carry your lugagge upstairs. I did notnlike that the iwner is arrogant. He made me feel like he was making me a favor. He rises his voice to the receptionist, maybe his wife. She was super helpfull, nice, polite.

Thank you for your review, it is always useful for us. Sorry for the lumpy mattresses, but they are new. In December, only heating is active. we apologize if the air conditioning does not work. coffee is always available at the bar for a fee, it is not provided free of charge in the room. As per the description on expedia, our. The hotel has no lift.However, we are always available to help customers with their luggage. The owner did not attack either the receptionist or his wife, perhaps he misunderstood. Thank you.

This little gem represents the kind of experience that keeps us coming back to Italy. The staff was extremely helpful and responsive, in particular when we arrived at 4am after a much-delayed flight from Croatia. They allowed us a late check out, ordered us a taxi, and made us a wonderful cappuccino even though breakfast had long-passed. Definitely recommend a stay near Venezia.

Convenient to Airport and Venice
We had an enjoyable stay in the two-bedroom family suite. Friendly and helpful staff, quiet and comfortable room, good breakfast, free parking. Good local restaurant next door, bus stop across street and hotel provided excellent directions for using public transportation.

As a film maker I travel all over the world and it is some time very difficult to find a 3 star hotels as good as Hotel Antico Moro. At least should be rated 4 stars.

staff is very experienced with getting tourists to Venice. Parking is secure behind the hotel. We left our car and took the reasonably-priced bus and tram to do our sight-seeing. The transfer to and from the tram was convenient and we never waited long. The room was quiet and clean. The breakfast is generous and varied; a good value.

Nice hotel, spent hours speaking to the older gentleman working the night shift about many different topics. He was very genuine and it was a great pleasure chatting with him and my wife. Reception was very helpful with information on how to get to Venice and return without issue.

The staff was very helpful! Breakfast was delicious, and there is a restaurant next door. So when you come back late from Venice you can have a really nice dinner.

Great hotel near bus and home base for Venice
Hotel owners were awesome! Tell you exactly how to get to Venice and even give you a printed clear instruction sheet and can sell bus tickets there too. Clean hotel and reasonable price. Free parking and good wifi. Everything was perfect, thanks!

A gem of a hotel
This was our third stay at the Antico Moro and was just as good as the first. We like the friendly and quiet atmosphere but with the convenience of being able to easily get into Venice by bus from just outside the front door. There is a lovely restaurant next door too! We hope to visit again next year.

Clean and convenient hotel, car essential.
This is a small hotel in a suburb of Mestre, handy for driving into Venice or catching the frequent bus services that pass the hotel. There is adequate safe parking within the hotel grounds. We had two rooms both at the rear of the property, one with a balcony (room 4) and room 6, both were comfortable and quiet. If you decide to book specify a rear room as the road at the front is quite busy. Breakfast was adequate and the attached restaurant serves a variety of dishes and should cater for most tastes. There are plenty of local shops and bars. Overall a great stay at a reasonable cost.

Advertised as located in Mestre, but actually located farther out. Hotel Cappuccino was terrible. Pizzeria next door to the hotel was good and considering it was the only place to eat without taking a bus or walking for miles, this mattered!

Great Hotel Service & Restaurant Next Door
We have a great stay at this hotel. The room was very spacious for the 4 of us. My kids which are 17 & 14 loved the bunk beds. The bathroom was very clean and quite large. We cannot say enough good things about the food from the restaurant next door. The food was excellent, we had dinner there both nights. Both the staff from the hotel and the restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The breakfast at the hotel was definately worth the 7 euros. It was very easy to take the bus into Venice where we spent the entire day. I would highly recommend this hotel.

Ideal base to visit Venice from
This was our second visit to the Antico Moro hotel and we enjoyed it just as much as the first time. The staff were very helpful and pleasant and the room was very comfortable. There was a great choice of items for breakfast too. We're looking forward to our next visit already!

The room was very nice. There was a tiny refrigerator where you can store a couple of cold drinks. The breakfast costs 7 euros each, with plenty choices - a better choice than buying food in the streets of Venice. It takes about 30 to 40 minutes to the city by bus. One-day all inclusive transportation pass costs 20 euros. The owners were super friendly: when we entered the lobby, the mister exclaimed: "Ah, you must be Mr. ....!"

Had a good experience as its very close to bus stop if you take bus from Venice. There are two bus running having stops next to hotel (approx time 30 minutes from Venice main bus station). Staff is also very helpful.

Hotel with parking for easy access to Venice
We stayed at this hotel to visit Venice. The bus stopped immediately outside and took 30 minutes to the Piazza Roma. A two day bus and water bus pass was available at the hotel when we arrived (cost 30 euros) and well worth having. We went to the restaurant next door which was excellent. Breakfast at the hotel was very good.

This experience was perfect. Wee stayed here due to is prolixity to Venice. The clerk helped us get on the right bus to Venice. There room was clean and comfortable. Perfect for a family of 5. I would stay again and again!
