Old world charm and in the heart of Union Square. Old classic San Francisco architecture. Walking distance to tons of shopping, dining and cultural amenities. Public transportation including the famous cable cars just 3 blocks away. Kings size bed very comfortable. Pleasant staff too. All in all I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at the Fitzgerald.

Rooms are very small and out dated. There is no AC and the complimentary breakfast is toast and cornflakes. The elevator is the old school open the door pull back the gate you are lucky if you fit in with your luggage. But the place was clean, the staff friendly and the location pretty central.
