Lovely Host, Lovely Accommodations
Owner was a gracious and humorous host. Room was spacious, comfortable, and spotless. Breakfast was delicious. Easy access to Ballybunion golf and other sights. Good, safe parking. Anybody whoever gave this property a bad review must have real mental issues - and I’m a trained therapist, so I can professionally make that diagnosis! Stay at The Tides B & B - it’s terrific!

Felt at home from the minute we arrived although we didn’t have breakfast we were given cakes when we checked out and offered coffee👍 Room was very comfy spacious and Spotlessly clean David was a fabulous host recommended places to visit and eat which we tried and we’re not disappointed Would recommend coast coffee shop

This is a super clean modern B&B run by a wonderful couple in a great part of Ireland. David the host is a local expert on everything of local interest including how to play each hole at Ballybunion’s old course. His wife provides breakfast choices that are exceptional. Great place to stay!

It's a short but very lovely stay at the Ashe Hotel. The staff is super friendly and make me feel welcome the moment I step into the hotel.

Doreen (chef) and David (host) (specific to our experience) are first class. The entire b&b is exceptionally clean and well laid out. They are very professional while also being genuinely welcoming and hospitable, as desired from a b&b. Plenty of parking and easily walkable to the ocean/town. If you’re a golfer, you’re in for a treat with David, he knows his links to say the least.

We loved our spacious bedroom and the friendly welcome from our hosts. The bathroom was so shiny and modern and spacious, with luxurious soft towels that you almost have had a holiday in there alone. Loved it!

This B&B is the most tidiest one that I ever had. David is very experienced in the business for 20 years. All the facility are just newly renovated. highly recommended ,especially during COVID time.

Call it a hotel, motel or an Inn but not a B&B. When checking in we were informed that breakfast was €10 per person extra. Will I go back there, I dont think so. I feel I was misled and couldn't cancel the reservation because it was non refundable. This also gives them an unfair advantage to other B&Bs where the breakfast is actually included in their price. This is the first B&B where I was asked to pay for my breakfast. It is a very place, but it is not sound proof. You can clearly hear other guests trying to unlock their door as if you were standing right next to them.

Great place well situated plenty of parking space, breakfast was delicious and plentiful. Staff so helpful and delightful! Only negative is no house number is given so we had to ask twice as we did not know which end of the Listowell rd.

I stayed two nights to play golf. The hotel is within 5 minutes’ drive from the course, which is very convenient. The room is clean and comfortable, the breakfast is delicious. David, owner, is very helpful. I hope to go back one day.

Booking directly to have breakfast included with your stay. Even if hotel.com says breakfast is included it isn't - we paid $20 for 2 breakfast which was yummy. Cleanest hotel ever - lots of special touches including a wine cooler in the bedroom! Lovely hosts - go !

Great Location within 5 minutes drive of Ballybunion golf club. Free Wi-Fi. Easy Free Car parking. Fabulous breakfast served early because of an early tee off time. Excellent room with probably the best shower i have used and the bed and pillows were pretty impressive. There was a wine cooler in the room, complementary water and biscuits and a toilet brush in the bathroom so sadly lacking in many establishments. There was also a seperate dressing room The hosts could not have been more welcoming

The Tides leaves no detail lacking! The owners Doreen and David are friendly and accomodating! Beautiful property with top quality furnishings and decorations. Nicest shower I have ever used!! Breakfast options were amazing! Hot, made to order meals from the menu, as well as a fully stocked breakfast bar! While Doreen cooks, David makes his way around to all guests in the glassed in octagon dining room. With pleasant conversation, and a pot of coffee, David offers to get/help with whatever else you made need! It doesn't get any better than this!!

Beautiful two bed room. Home was immaculate. Proprietors very pleasant. Location close to beautiful cliffs and beaches. Only negative-no breakfast available on the days of our stay.

Great place to stay while playing Ballybunion or visiting Cliffs of Bromer. The service is excellent, attentive and the Breakfast is delicious. The owner is quite the tour guide and made my trip to Ireland very special and unforgettable.

The B&B was in a great location and the room was perfect. David, the owner was friendly and helpful. On the day my husband took the car for golf, he showed me around town, how to find the cliff pathway, and dropped me off. Then came back and picked me up later. He arranged for our laundry to be done at a reasonable price. Pick up by 10 and returned later the same day. He suggested restaurants, arranged reservations and procured taxi's for us when needed. Every need was met. Although we did not eat breakfast, the other guest said it was good. My husband left some irreplaceable jewelry there and the owner found it and mailed it to our home. I cannot say enough. I would definitely stay here again.

Great place to stay for golfers
Ballybunion is a nice, family-oriented small town, and Tides is within walking distance of the downtown, and close to the golf course. Our room was really spacious and comfortable.

Very highly recommended - spotlessly clean - staff friendly, professional, helpful - ensuring each guests stay was excellent. Rooms comfortable and well equipped - had in wall USB ports by each side of the beds. Excellent breakfast - the dining room is circular with windows all around - beautiful country views. Definatley would stay again
