I have stayed here three times over the years and have always enjoyed my stay. The staff is always very friendly and helpful. It feels like a family environment, very welcoming. The grounds and amenities are perfect for a family group or just a get away for one. I will always stay here.

We had a great time. It was very nice. Wish there was more variety of food. I kind of knew that going in to vacation because I live in the area just a small getaway the pool area, sprucing, and cleaning.

I am sad to give this place a bad review but I have to be honest. This has been my go to place to stay for years and even as a child. The front desk staff is nice and caring. However my daughter found glass from a broken pickle jar in a pile under one of the beds. The baseboards and lower walls were not clean and they kept running out of pool towels.

The Chateau is cool, especially if you have kids. They have a pool. They have a little section of those little arcade games, like NBA jams, Pac-Man etc. They have ping pong and Foosball. Lot's of stuff to do when you have a few minutes between other things or at the end of the night. They supply like 4 fans per room. You have an option of ocean view. There is beach access close by. We really enjoy it and plan on going every year. Last year imade a booking mistake and they were friendly about it and fixed it for me. I definitely recommend Chateau at Westport.

Will definitely be back for the amenities alone! Kids had fun in the kid zone they have arcade games, ping pong table and lots of games. Definitely family friendly with pool, too. Although, the jacuzzi was not in service due to a crack and the gym was closed it was still a ton of fun. There is a playground for kids our back and firepits for bonfires. Cant wait to come back during the summer! Staff was great and very friendly.

Front desk lady was super friendly and helpful. I thought I had booked a room with a kitchen but had not. She switched us to a kitchen room with no hesitation or charge. It was pretty noisy, but that was to be expected. Lots of families with excited kids is to be expected in this area. There have been a lot of upgrades to this building since my last stay. The firelog for our fireplace was a nice touch. I was a little disappointed to see the hot tub is no longer usable.

Staff is hardly ever at front desk even during business hours and the hotel does not answer phone. Staff parks in disabled parking without placard with no regard for disabled guests. In last two visits..no screen door on unit we were in and there was an actual bat flying in the room at night and no one at front desk. So many non functioning items, fitness room out of order, hot tub taped off. Dog feces right outside our slider. This hotel needs much improvement. Oh and window leaked when raining

The staff was really friendly and the pool was great. Hot tub was not working, it wasn't a deal breaker but it would have been nice to use it. They have a mini game room and other activities. The rooms are quite tight and the WIFI here is really weak.

Even though the pictures are deceptive this is a decent, if older, hotel. The walls are very thin but the front desk staff (Harmony) graciously moved me to a different room where I got a better nights rest. It had a great view w/fireplace, was clean and had been updated throughout. I would definitely return to this hotel.

We have stayed many times at the Chateau and while its the nicest accommodations in Westport, it was a little disappointing as the quality has gone down since our last visits. The front desk staff were amazing and always greeted us and asked how our day was. The pool was great (according to my two boys) however, the hot tub was closed. Upon entering our room, it was unbearably hot and stuffy (it was a warm day for Westport that day). We searched for the temp. control and found that there is no air conditioning, only a tall fan. We opened the windows and saw that the screen was slightly bent, which let in bugs such as a giant moth that was flying around our room late at night. Turning on the tv, we found that there is no cable and only Netflix available (but you must have your own login). We tried logging in and streaming a movie, but the WIFI is so incredibly slow that it buffered every 2 mins and we gave up as it was infuriating. Overall, it wasn't a terrible stay.. but definitely not one that I would spend over $200 a night for again.

This place is really nice. The bed is very firm. We really were looking for a getaway, stay in your room, order room service, and veg kind of a weekend. Come to find out the restaurant is closed. The only store we found is pretty pricy and dining options are a few miles away. Overall tho it was good to be back at the coast. Just bring food to heat to and coffee pods
