Bed was cozy, though the blankets were crazy thin and I needed more. Plus she sheets had holes burnt out of them.
The moment I touched the bathroom doorknob, it fell off in my hand. No lock on it, and couldn’t use the knob at all.
Paint was peeling like crazy, and there was a whole terrarium of mold under the toilet. The fridge was broken, which I only realized after leaving items in it for long enough that they were ruined. I just had this sense that there was a stale grime about the whole place.
But it’s in the heart of town, and the safest option of the lodgings there, so it’s got that going for it. The staff was kind and helpful when needed, too. But the place was really just falling apart and badly needs a tune-up.
