I have traveled to numerous places and stayed in countless hotels. However, this particular hotel proved to be the worst experience I've ever had. To start, the room had a strong odor, and the furniture was notably aged. I booked a one bedroom apartment for 4 people, which included two sofa beds, and my daughters both complained of discomfort and back pain after the first night's sleep. The hotel's 4-star ranking puzzled me, especially when there was no shampoo provided in our bathroom. Astonishingly, the front desk's response was to suggest purchasing shampoo from a nearby grocery store. In all my 30 years of travelling to more than 22 countries, I have never come across a hotel, even one with a 2-star rating, that didn't offer complimentary shampoo to guests, let alone instructed them to buy their own. Furthermore, the absence of beach/pool towels was another disappointment, with the hotel's solution being to purchase them elsewhere. Remarkably, the room contained a safety box, but obtaining a key for it came at an additional cost. Even basic amenities like teabags, coffee, and bottled water were lacking in the room. The overall condition of the hotel room, including stained towels, left me feeling disgusted. Despite the steep price of over $500 per night, I couldn't even consider this hotel worthy of a 1-star rating. Fortunately, our reservation was limited to just two nights, after which we relocated to another hotel near Pine Cliffs for the third night.

Hotel is in a great location to walk into the old town. It is on a road with transport links, supermarket next door and restaurants. The hotel staff were very friendly and accommodating, the room was of a good size and the communal areas including the pool were excellent and very clean.

Apartment was spacious and well-equipped. Apartment was very clean and cleaned daily. Hotels.com website states "Wifi available - EUR 10 per week". To be accurate, this should be corrected to EUR 10 per week PER DEVICE. Wifi was not always fast or reliable, despite the cost. The restaurant was open for breakfast but not for dinner unless there was a large group staying at the hotel. The apartment had a safe, but not larger enough for a laptop, and also NOT FREE

As others have said, property very clean, they seem to keep their staff. Surprising to pay for wifi and the safe, as its normally free. Bit surprised one morning to see people putting towels out to bag the beds, as there were abundance of them! Take or buy your own dishclothes etc, no scissors in room.

Good location, good customer service. The only problem is that the infrastructure is old/ outdated and you can hear absolutely every noise from the surrounding and from the neighbors. There's also an ongoing construction next to the hotel and it's super loud. Sadly we couldn't sleep so well due to these.

Brisa sol is the place to be we had lovely apartment over looking the sea they upgraded us. Sun hits the balcony in the morning. Staff were very friendly and helpful Saudade one of the house keeping staff was excellent and very friendly. When I go back to Albufeira this is where I will stay and the fabulous cake shop downstairs is a must lots of restaurants and shops nearby and the beach only 10-15 minute walk.

Great hotel for the money paid in Nov 21. Studio gives option for some self catering and there is a large Supermarket next door. Also a McDonald's opposite. The cakes sold in the onsite patisserie are superb. I'll definitely be back.

The bar staff were excellent. The double room wasn't a double room, it was two single beds pushed together, I dislike that very much, I prefer a double bed even although I keep returning to Brisa Sol.

Tidy, clean hotel with huge rooms
Huge clean room. Suite style with a balcony and kitchenette. Friendly, helpful staff. Only negative is some accessibility issues outside, hotel has an accessible entrance on to cobbold streets and no drop from path.

Stayed here for 5 nights after we checked out of previous property due to lack of air con. We had stayed here 4 years ago so knew the air con was individually controlled. We booked one bed apartment with a pool view. Large apartment with comfy pillows and beds. Pity they don't supply any washing up liquid or cloths. Hotel is a bit dated but it is immaculately clean, hotel staff nice. Pool is huge but very cold! I could only manage 2 lengths! Apartments very central but quiet. Good stay.

Brisa sol
Hotel was very clean and in a good central location just a short walk into the old town. Rooms are cleaned daily and areas in hotel were very clean. Staff were very friendly and check in was very quick

Nice Beach Holiday
Well equipped, comfortable Hotel. Opening hours of sauna, indoor pool and gym not very suitable for business travellers (at least in the morning, opens very late). Internet access is charged separetely
