Vila Pateo is situated at the end of a private road and is chosen by guests for its proximity to the beach which is just a 5 minute walk, and absolutely stunning seaviews.
The villa is in an excellent location, as it is close to Albufeira old town, which is a 20 minute walk along the beach, also Oura and ' The Strip' famous for its lively music bar nightlife are only a 15 minute walk .
Pateo is located in a very quiet area where you can totally relax and enjoy your holidays in the best way.

Accommodation:
Ground Floor: Spacious lounge / dining room with Satellite TV, DVD, with 3 patio doors leading onto a large balcony with BBQ and dining terrace offering superb sea views. Fully fitted & equipped kitchen with dishwasher & microwave. Laundry room with washing machine and dryer. Twin bedroom with patio doors to the interior patio courtyard. Shower room. Twin bedroom with en-suite WC & a mezzanine floor with sofas with patio doors to terrace.
First Floor: Master queen bedroom and en-suite bathroom.
Double bedroom with en-suite bathroom. Large 'family' bedroom with 3 x single beds and en-suite shower room and patio windows to large balcony. (Baby gates are fitted at both top and bottom of the staircase).
There is a pleasant sitting room with bamboo furniture, under the house, facing the pool area.
The lounge / dining room and all the bedrooms are fully air conditioned.

The large swimming pool (swimming pool can be heated, this is an optional extra and Temperature will be between 26 - 28 degrees) is surrounded by spacious terraces with sunloungers, a BBQ and dining table.

Lovely stay
Really happy with everything - super villa, outdoors spaces were amazing. The pool is bigger than many hotel pools. Might not be great for people with limited mobility. Had everything we needed for a super week in Albuferia.

Our priority was a villa near the beach, ocean views, big heated pool and Villa Pateo gave us all that. There were just four of us and we spent most of our time on the pool deck. Despite being behind a busy beach it was very peaceful and has lots of trees and shrubs, including a magnificent super tall solitary palm tree. The villa is managed by The Monica Isobel hotel next door so we could have got free cleaning whenever we wanted it but, due to COVID, would have to leave the premises so we skipped that. We were wary of what the bedrooms might be like because of the lack of photo’s of them, but they were all comfortable and nice. The air con worked really well. Our outside bin was emptied regularly. Only grumble is the site says there is a washing machine, but it’s actually a stone washboard like people used in the Middle Ages. For an expensive villa I suggest the owners buy a washer. So until that happens pack for every day. There is a dryer. There is even a gym with albeit some very ancient equipment. It’s about 20 mins along the beach to Old Town and a 15 min walk to The Strip. I’d recommend a meal at The Clay Oven Indian restaurant. It was delicious. We’d definitely recommend Casa Pateo and would book it again.

Great villa for the family in fabulous location for beach and local restautants
We stayed in this villa for 2 weeks with our extended family. We all had a great time. The pool is first class and a real focal point of the property - it can heated too which encouraged everyone to get in at one time or another and meant the kids were in for hours. The villa has two BBQs - both charcoal, and plenty of outside seating, so once the sun had gone behind the trees and the air cooled a bit we were able to eat outside every night. One quibble was that the place needs more plastic plates and glasses for use by the pool. The bedrooms are all en suite and the bathrooms have recently been renovated to a high standard - most with walk-in showers which were great for the older members of our party. The villa has aircon in all living and sleeping spaces which was also appreciated. The villa is managed by a local hotel/beach club and was cleaned and the sheets/towels changed several times a week by an efficient team of staff. The staff on the reception of the hotel were very responsive to any issues that arose. The kitchen is quite small, as can be seen from the photos on the website. It is though well-equipped and there is an extra long fridge and freezer in the utility room so no storage issues. If you owned the villa you would explore knocking the kitchen through to the sitting room area, but again for a couple of weeks this was not a huge problem, especially as we used the BBQ extensively. We hired a car. Parking by the villa was great but due to the nearby beach (it is one minute's walk downhill) the route to the villa was often made very narrow by badly parked cars. Again a quibble and no fault of the owners. The beach is sandy and clean, and less packed than at the Albufeira end. It's about a 20 minute walk along the beach to the town, where there are great local restaurants scattered around the older sections, as well as the nightlife down at beach level. We all agreed we would stay there again, which is probably to best recommendation one could make.

The villa is stunning, beautiful views, just in front of the sea.
We really loved the stay, the villa is very well kept, with everything you need for self catering. The welcome pack was a nice touch, as well, just what you need after the travel. The pool is cleaned daily and after 3 days we had cleaners to clean the house entirely and changed all the beds and towels, can't ask for more The staff from Monica Isabel are very nice and helpful. Short walk to the strip and old town. We loved everything, we are sad we left and we'll be back for sure. Thank you for the stay!! We're looking forward to the next one.

Great facilities and well kept. A private place away from the hustle and bustle.
Great place to have a family holiday. Handy for the beach and an easy walk to local restaurants and other facilities. The pool is excellent and the children made the most of it while allowing the adults to relax too.

Beautiful villa with lovely pool.
The villa was excellent - well equipped, clean and spacious. Pool was fabulous. Welcome pack on arrival was very good. Customer service from all we engaged with was excellent and courteous. Would stay again. It should be noted that it's quite a walk to Albufeira old town if not walking along the beach (only 20 minutes if walking along the beach). Short and cheap taxi ride back though. Villa do Pateo is peaceful and private - not far from Albufeira old town. We had a couple of lovely meals at restaurant Cabana Fresca in Albufeira and also good pizza at Urban Pizza. Only 10 minute walk to The Strip if that's your thing. 20 minute walk to decent sized Intermarche supermarket. Only criticism is that we could have done with some information about local supermarkets etc in the information folder.

Clean, spacious Villa
We were a family of 12 people ranging in age from 71 to 18 months old. There was plenty of room for everyone. I didn't realise there would be so many steps in the Villa which my 71 year old dad struggled with, especially to get to the pool the steps were very steep. The pool area was great although it was very expensive to heat (£385 for 1 week) There was a lovely and very welcome food and drinks pack when we arrived which was very thoughfull but we could have done with some information on where the nearest supermarket was and the number of a local taxi company would have been beneficial. We could not enter the villa until 3 o clock in the afternoon and we had to vacate the Villa by 10am so i would bear that in mind when booking your flights. Overall it was a great family holiday in a really good standard of Villa.

Property very clean and comfortable lovely welcome pack
Kitchen had everything you needed when dining in. Two large fridges and separate freezer which was a must for the bottles of water. There was a lot of steps to the property which would not suit some people. Pool and garden maintained daily, could do with overgrowth the other side of railings cutting back as blocked the sea view sadly. Again leaving the property there was a couple of steep hills to get up unless you took a taxi to get to shops and local restaurants. We found two good ones, panacee opposite mini market and les tremias which specialised in fish, both worth a visit. Maids came twice during our stay and black bin bag was collected mid week and early on day of departure. We had a lovely holiday and would return again 😊
