My wife and I spent 11 nights and had a very nice holiday. We had not been to Portugal before and chose the hotel because it offered a good standard of room, is in a great location and offers an all inclusive deal meaning that our default position was well covered. The hotel seems to appeal to a wide cross-section of holidaymakers. I'd estimate that 20% of the guests were golfers, who of course made good use of the free drinks in the evening, but were elsewhere during the day. It was also popular with couples with babies, bear in mind this was during school term time, so that's hardly surprising, and the remainder were largely retired people who seemed to have picked up extremely good bargains from the discussions I had. The rooms are faultless, well equipped and very spacious. The complex is very clean, well maintained, though maybe a bit characterless. The all inclusive food and drink was as advertised, no catches, good quality and available from dawn to midnight. If I were on a golfing holiday, I would have to say this place can not be beaten for the price, especially some of the deals I heard of from UK groups, absolutely ridiculously good value for money. The hotel has a courtesy bus to the beach, which is as good as any on the Algarve, so you don't have to stay in the hotel complex if you don't want to. Anyone who complains about this hotel was either very unlucky or very unreasonable. The restaurants are like works cafeteria, but what else do you expect?
