Property location is perfect with a quiet road. Communication with the property can be difficult when you try to contact them before arrival because they don't have any website or email address.

I have been going to the vale de Carros For 28 years never had a bad holiday Very friendly lovely Rooms and quiet Won’t stay anywhere else only thing that’s The free minibus to the beach was is vital to the older generation

Property wasn't high rise only two storey, nicely laid out gardens and pool area's,our balcony got the sun most of the day which was great as we are not swimmers.only downside was the stairs to the apartment could be tricky

great stay !
Stayed at these apartments with my 12 year old daughter for 5 nights from the 24th August.. I stayed in a studio , clean tidy and everything you would expect with a huge balcony with two sun loungers.. ..if your after lively this isn’t the place for you idea for couples and family’s , yes it might seem a little remote but within a 5-10 minute walk there are enough restaurants and a few bars, I woukd recommend Hugo tapas !! It’s 5 euros in a taxi to the centre of town with a lot more restaurants and bars .. about 15-20 minute walk to the beach .. complex is nice and clean , two pools.. bar which also serves food.. woukd recommend their full English reasonably priced and they have a happy hour from 4-6.. all the staff are friendly and welcoming..

I spent some time researching properties in the Algarve as I did not want to end up staying in a high rised block! I am glad that I chose Vale de Carros- the studio flat for a family of 4 suited us perfectly- it was clean and modern with a lovely private balcony overlooking the tennis court. We found it peaceful in the lovely well kept gardens by the pool the opposite end of the site from the bar. The location was great being only a 5 minute walk to restaurants, bank and small supermarket. We drove to the beach at Olhos D'agua most days which was a few minutes away. The kitchen was small so we just prepared sandwiches and cooked pasta etc then ate out the rest of the time. Many residents that we spoke to had stayed at Vale de Carros more than twice and we will also return in the future.

Best holiday every and at a great price
Accommodation was great. Lovely spacious bathroom with a great shower. Kitchen had all you needed from a microwave to a kettle and toaster. The balcony had view of the pool and we also had Sun loungers on the balcony. 10/10

The apartment was spacious,clean and with a large balcony. The shower was fab. Very nice pool and bar with good food reasonably priced. Easy walk to supermarket,restaurants,bars and beach thoroughly enjoyed our stay for short family break. A quiet place but Albufeira town only short taxi ride away.

Go on, give it a try!
We absolutely love staying at Vale Carros, such amazing value for money it's hard to see how anyone can complain. Beds and pillows not the most comfortable but everything else makes up for that. All the staff are lovely, from reception and bar to the cleaning team, they all work very hard. And a special mention for the man who looks after the beautiful gardens. We will be back for sure!

Great Value
Tough to find on Google Maps. Friendly staff. Apartments need some renovating, wifi was a separate charge but overall for the price great value. Paid $60 for 3 people.

Smelly apartment
The apartments was ok, however it was a bad smell in the apartment most likely from mold, we stayed only 2 nights and stayed out of the apartment from morning to evening, hence the smell was less by the second day. Internet one had to pay extra for, tv was a tiny 21" tv screen. Beds not comfortable, extremely hard mattresses and bad pillows. Towels were not changed on second day when we let them on the floor, cleaning staff only hung back the dirty towels. When we checked out the staff didn't bother to ask about our stay so and was not too friendly. Apartment far walk from beaches, you need to drive. Not much to do in area, a few restaurants and bars. Only positive to say is the price and the overall cleanliness of the apartment. But will not return to this place. If you are not on a tight budget we would avoid this place.

Good family break
THE GOOD Friendly and helpful staff. The kids really enjoyed many hours in the pool and it was a great relaxing time me and my wife also. THE NOT SO GOOD There is sense in which a the hotel/apartments atmoaphere is divided in two. There is a deliberate attempt to cater foreign holiday makers and I think that this is good. On the other hand though there is sense of national heritage through the architecture and landscape, a lot of the National treats (the coffes/ the cakes/ the athmosphere) are not present. This is bit of a shame as to experience these one must go outside

Excellent value for money
Really good value for money apartment really clean with everything you need. Nicely kept garden with 2 swimming pools. Bar area excellent and the breakfasts were spot on all in all well worth a visit.

Well positioned, clean and spacious.
The accommodation has a nice bar and swimming pool and well kept gardens. The apartment is well placed for local shops and restaurants and parking is right outside the front door.

Good size comfortable property
Clean, nicely maintained property with balcony. The pool and clean and the bar on site was very good. The site is close to nearby shops and a walk away to the beach. Parking is available right outside the property and the area seemed very safe and secure.

Lovely small apartment complex
We really liked this place. It's quite a small to medium sized complex which is just what we needed. It's quiet and our apartment was right beside the pool!. The accommodation is basic but super clean and perfect for our needs. The bar and restaurant provide simple food but we found it good, sometimes we ate out and sometimes it was very convenient to walk the 10 meters from our apartment to the bar to eat! Friendly staff. Very good value. We would go back

Amazing couple retreat
We had a wonderful stay here. The staff were outstanding, especially Samantha and Paolo (hope we've spelled your names right, guys :) thank you for looking after us. Also, many thanks for the Reception team - you ladies were great! We would recommend this place at any time, both for families, with well educated children, or couples that are looking for a nice and quiet getaway. The rooms are lovely, spacious and clean. All the resort looks recently refurbished, including the pools. The pools are clean and you have free sunbeds to take all day long. Beach towel hiring service also available for a fair price, which is great. Everybody speaks English at a proficiency level. Great stuff! Keep up the good work! M&M

Fantastic Value for the money
We had a very good stay at this hotel, it is a bit of a drive to the beach but the hotel is a great bargain. WiFi is available but it is archaic and keeps cutting off.

Good value apartment near Albufeira
We had a studio apartment which was big enough. It had clearly been recently refurbished and the beds, sofa etc seemed new. There was a large private balcony with loungers, table & chairs. We had a minor issue with an aromatic drain which the management tried very promptly (with limited success) to sort out. For what we paid the unit was great value. The unit is an easy 30 min amble (5 min by car) to the beautiful Falesia beach. A 10 min drive to Albufeira.

Great place to stay, has everything needed!
Was a great trip, the houses have everything needed! Great for families, solo travellers and couples. For short stays I suggest that the Hotel includes some dishwashing materials, like a sponge and liquid as for 2 days I wouldn't bother buying.. But if it was there it would have helped me to leave the place with dishes washed and also wash them between my meals better! Another suggestion is a place to park a bicycle - I had a bit of a problem with that :) Whatever you may need can be obtained from the hotel, like hairdryer as well as some food essentials. The supermarket is 10 min walk though. Best accessible by car, but within walking distance from the Pine Cliffs and some beaches access points I think.. With the bicycle everything was super close, which is a great way of moving around and the area is within half an hour from Albufeira train station.
