Cleanliness of rooms very good, staff very helpful. Only negative was the restaurant which was very noisy/echoey and there was no private lounge area.

Great start
We went in the quiet season and had the pools to ourselves a lot of the time. The hotel was lovely and staff really friendly although rarely spoke any English

Very disappointing
Reception insisted on a credit card to guarantee room although it was pre paid... I declined but spent 20 mins discussing the issue. Room was ok but overlooked by other rooms in internal courtyard. Area was very very poor. Apart from a beach with an expensive beach club there was absolutely nothing within a 25 minute walk and even then just a local bar and Indian restaurant.

Good value for money
Very friendly staff. Plenty of free parking in the off season. Unfortunately woken at 3.30am by Spanish hen party but it was a Friday night. Hotel has a no food or drinks to be brought into the room policy.

Short but pleasant stay
The Adria Vera is very good for a short stay, we were there for 4 days and it suited us as we were out and about during the day. The hotel is very close to the fantastic quiet beach, great for families, the hotel pool area is also very good. The buffet breakfast is very good, everything very fresh, nothing sits for to long. Overall our £200 b/b stay was good value for money, we would not recommend staying for more than a week as there is not much going on locally

Lovely hotel, close to the beach
Booked in for 2 nights and stayed 5. Had a free upgrade to a sea view room with balcony. The rooms are huge and we had 2 massive, really comfortable beds. Lovely bathroom too. Spotlessly clean. We were booked in for half board and the food was very good. The staff are pleasant and friendly. The only slightly negative point we would have is that the dining room has been done in a modern style and lacks character. We prefer the old Spanish style. Would have no hesitation recommending this hotel.

Nice hotel.
Nice hotel. I stayed during the off season in beginning of October so I did get plenty of free parking on the street. However, there is very little restaurants or shopping within walking distance. Beautiful sea view from balcony worth the few extra dollars. Staff was nice and courteous. Room had fridge that wasn't working and they changed it out promptly. Two small pools and hot tub with sea one block away. I would consider staying here again.

Near to a beach but it is isolated.
Very nice hotel with friendly staff.Receptionist had good English and were helpful. We discussed with one male receptionist about the food temperature which at all times was cold. The response was " some people like food cold"--- so if you like scrambled /fried eggs + sausages cold + main meals then this is the hotel for you. My husband managed to heat his food in the microwave. No fresh orange juice which for the area + a 4 star hotel you would expect. Other restaurants are a 15 - 20 min walk -- quite a nice walk. You have one supermarket around the corner with a cafe bar with fresh orange juice! Bus service to Mojacar is just up from the supermarket + to Vera. No clothes shops beside the hotel. I feel the hotel are making an effort but need to improve to meet a 4 star status. The following suggestions may assist for management to look at for the future. In the bar area they have a small menu but with language difficulty which is understandable it would be beneficial to have a display of the variety of cakes + snacks to purchase . Not always staffed?Food must be monitored for temperature which was not done. Seperate the games from the lounge area. Keep a relaxing environment to enjoy a drink. In the restaurant it unfortunately looks like a canteen possibly to update and please put rubber under the chairs to avoid scraping. We had an enjoyable week and wish the hotel every success for the future.

Great size room with 2 double beds no noise between rooms and floors, only drawback room backed on to pool area of another hotel which wasn't best view. Buffet breakfast was OK but hot food was not very warm. Pool area was fine with 2 swimming pools

We stayed for 7 nights. First we got room on the first floor with no view and as balcony is not covered there was no privacy. But when we requested for a room change they happily gave us room on the top floor with a sea view. All rooms are very clean and comfortable. Staff is pleasant. Only thing is if you are going for room only then be aware there are no restaurants close by, be ready to walk 15-20 mins in search of food :-). Naturist beach and area is also a mile away if you are interested in that. But otherwise no issues with the hotel at all.

Close to the beach & met all our requirements for a short break. Would have liked to be able to make a hot drink in the room but had breakfast included so not a huge problem. Nice clean minimal hotel with a lovely sea view from the room. Breakfast/dining room is a little bit like a school canteen & a smile from some of the staff in there would be appreciated.

Very basic hotel. Bedding not changed all week. Had to request clean towels. Only 10ml of body wash and shampoo per person provided so purchased our own. Orange juice undrinkable; cold hot food, frozen bread; inadequate breakfast selection. On the plus side, good location for the beach and good view from balcony

Lovely staff and good location for the textile beach, if you want to go to the main nude beach its a nice walk along the beach front for about 20 mins. Only had one meal in restaurant as on room only basis ( not fantastic). Room was spacious and bed comfortable.

Pleasant Hotel close to the beach
The hotel was adequate and family friendly. It is not ideal for older couples who require a quiet relaxing time. The room could have done with drink making facilities and a full length mirror plus more variation of TV channels for different nationalities. Breakfast was very good with plenty of choice.

had trouble finding hotel with our sat nav, hotel was in the right area but hidden by a bigger hotel. hotel was in a good position, near the beach . but the area was a massive urbanisation, with no bars or choice of restaurants, just the one on beach. hotel had good facilities and food was good, great selection for breakfast.

Las almohadas son horribles y la comida de muy poca calidad... Sólo es aceptable el desayuno. Eso si el personal de limpieza del restaurante y de recepción son muy amables y atentos. En otros hoteles de 4 estrellas el nivel es más alto

In der Nebensaison ist hier noch nix los (Juni) ... das Wasser ist noch ganz schön frisch. Das macht sich bemerkbar. Es waren relativ wenig Gäste im Hotel und im Ort. Wir waren nur eine Nacht dort. Dafür top. Zimmer war sauber und hatte alles was man braucht. Frühstück war gut. Service an der Rezeption noch ausbaufähig: Frage nach Supermarkt konnte nicht beantwortet werden. Um das zweite Handtuch musste ich mehrfach bitten. Freundlich waren alle. Wenn es richtig voll ist, könnte es im Frühstücksraum sehr laut werden. Der Raum ist nicht sonderlich toll.

Muy nuevo al lado de la playa
El hotel es muy nuevo muy limpio y al lado de la playa. Por ponerle un pero... Está en una zona de nueva construcción y no hay locales de tapas de los que va la gente del pueblo porque la zona es tipo urbanización
