Tranquil retreat in the hear of Andalucia, only minutes away from El Chorro

For those who love the outdoors the choice of activities are endless El Chorro/Valle de Abdalajis are world famous rock climbing locations. The Caminito del Rey is only 15 minutes away from us. Ardales Lakes offer great swimming, canoeing, fishing or walking locations. There are local companies that offer guided walks, mountain biking, cycling and quad biking tours covering all abilities. There is also paragliding, horse or donkey trekking are also offered within minutes from the Casita. Situated just outside the pretty whitewashed hill town of Alora with its beautiful Morrish Castle, good shopping facilities and excellent restaurants. Our garden is fully enclosed, which creates an extra-safe environment for guests that are travelling with children. They are fun to explore, with often chameleons and different birds to spot amongst the tree branches. And of course you have the swimming pool to relax in. There are also relaxing walks or bicycle rides straight from the Casita

The villa was clean, cosy & comfortable with all the facilities needed for a self catering holiday.
The property was lovely, well maintained & suited our needs for a quiet, relaxing holiday. Air conditioning was essential as the climate was extremely hot in June. The owners respected our privacy but were available throughout our stay if required. The local attractions file was excellent & gave us information about the area, both locally & further afield. The swimming pool was smaller than other villas we have stayed in but was big enough to cool off & relax in. Overall we had no complaints thankyou😎

Clean and well appointed villa in a good location.
The Villa was perfect for our requirements, secluded and peaceful but not far from local amenities. Our hostess was on hand when we arrived with excellent info and left a good welcome pack with particularly delicious homemade marmalade, her communication after booking was perfect. The bedrooms are large, one with comfortable double bed and traditional storage, the second set up as a twin. We found the air conditioning essential due to high temperatures during our holiday. The bathroom is huge and well appointed with towels and basic toiletries, the hot water was reliable all week. The pool is clean, and though not massive was a welcome addition. We made full use of the large patio area, with loungers and table, barbeque etc. No complaints about the facilities. The local town has all you may require and the locals were friendly.Travel from Malaga airport is straight forward, but beware of sat nav, follow the hostesses directions!.

Relaxing rural retreat
We have just stayed at this lovely villa with beautiful views. The owners are extremely welcoming and very helpful when needed but at the same time gave us all of the privacy we looked for in a relaxing break. The homegrown vegetables were a lovely treat. We will definitely be returning and would recommend this villa to anyone wanting a peaceful holiday, with a lot of amenities a few minutes drive away. Jayne and David

Calme et environnement agréable
Maison aux pièces de bonne dimension où on ne se sent pas à l'étroit.Agréable terrasse et piscine bienvenue pour se rafraîchir.Les propriétaires sont proches mais très discrets.Kinga est disponible pour des conseils sur les environs.Quelques ustensiles de cuisine supplémentaires seraient utiles(une poêle et une théière par exemple). IL y a de nombreux centres d'interêt proches (Malaga,Mijas,Antequera,El Caminito de Rey et le lac) Alora dispose d'un Mercadona où on trouve tout ce qu'on veut.L'accès en voiture est un peu difficile au début mais il suffit de suivre à la lettre les indications de Kinga. Par contre Abritel a mis une fausse information: il n'y a PAS de machine à laver dans la maison,Kinga se propose de mettre sa machine à disposition. Nous avons aimé notre séjour là-bas et le recommandons à tous ceux qui aiment être un peu isolés de l'agitation.Seul le Vendredi soir est un peu "animé" par le trafic des avions sur Malaga,mais ils ne sont pas très bas.

une excellente adresse pour ceux qui recherche calme et authenticité
- excellent accueil de Simon ( malgré notre arrivée tardive: après 22h) et de Kanga - un sympathique package pour le petit déjeuner (pain, marmelade, lait, oeufs) nous attendait - magnifique vue de la Casita sur les montagnes environnantes - grande terrasse pour les petits déjeuners et diners 'al fresco' - le tout situé dans un hameau au calme à quelques kilomètres de Alora (supermarché...)
