The hotel itself is adorable. Unfortunately, there were some very, very loud guests making a lot of noise between 11PM (23:00) and 1AM (01:00) and it didnt seem like there was an easy way to contact the hotel about addressing it. Otherwise, it's super cute, cosy, comfy, and clean.

Peaceful hotel, friendly service
Wonderful place by a lake - not very common in Germany I think. We stayed just one night but the hotel is suitable for a longer stay with different kind of water activities and hikes. Very quiet and peaceful place. On-site restaurant is very good and summer terrace overlooking to the lake is a dot on i.

Warm cosy fire when you enter, classy restaurant with lovely wines. We had a dog with us and they could not have been more welcoming to us all. We didn’t get to see it in daylight which was a shame as the setting looked stunning

Gem in the country
We had a wonderful four days at this hotel... Great service, super tasty breakfast with big selection, spacious airy room, lots to do in the area and lovely massage and sauna.

Hotel very good, 2 Restaurants with a small menu card, small means also fresh. was very good. Quite place right at the lake and a golf course within 2km available. Excellent place for a weekend or just if you on the road to do yourself something good.

A pleasant 2 night stay.
A very pleasant lakeside location with lovely terraces. The restaurant is excellent, with probably the best cuisine in the area; but do note a buffet is served on Mondays and Tuesdays - which is also good, but not quite the same experience as the a la carte menu on other days. The rooms are good, but basic. This is more than made up in the lakeside views and peace and quiet - at night all that is heard is the nocturnal stirrings of dreaming geese!

A little gem of a hotel with amazing cuisine
Lovely location and so full of wild life. Beautiful food in the restaurant and well worth having dinner. The breakfast was probably one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. I will definitely go back to this little gem of a hotel.

This is a lovely hotel, situated in the woods by a lake. The hotel is calm, clean and relaxing. I'd definitely stay here again.

Charming with nags.
Charming hotel. Having said that there were some problems that we encountered on our rather short stay. We arrived late in the evening and unfortunately they started drilling in the wall in the morning waking us up. Wifi was unstable going off all the time and staying off 10-20 min before coming back. There was also no pingpong table as advertised. Otherwise very charming in a lovely location but You will need a car to get in and out as it is in the countryside.

My wife and i love this hotel ,good location ,excellent friendly staff ,top quality food at all our meals .the steaks are of the best local quality and all the staff are doing a professional job with a smile .The manager Peter runs a very smooth well run hotel .We will be back again .The views from the bedrooms and hotel rooms are amazingly spectacular ,with so much nature on the doorstep .

Enjoyed our 1 night stay and the restaurant's food was excellent. My only compliant was, that the hotel's maintenance decided to turn off the electrics on the morning of checkout and we couldn't see a thing to pack. Bad planning that shouldn't happen.

A super Hotel in the countryside.
A fantastic Hotel for a quiet night in the country side next to a lake. A fantastic place to recommend. We arrived late so we did not have the chance to have dinner there, but can recommend the breakfast. The place to "fill up your batteries" after a stressful journey... I recommend this hotel!!!

Wonderful lakeside location
We stopped here to break a long car journey. Moments after arrival, our child was exploring the grounds, playing with acorns and discovering novelties in the gardens. We walked to the cafe and pottery nearby for cake, and enjoyed a lovely dinner in the hotel restaurant. Service at dinner was attentive and considerate, and again at breakfast, including for a small child who isn't always quite so well-behaved as the parents might like. There were beautiful views from our spacious room and from the restaurant, and on the whole it feels pleasantly removed and peaceful. We hope to return.

Short stay close to Flensburg
A nice priced hotel turned out to be a surpising place. A Michelin 1 star restauarant was not what we expected to fine. The rooms however, more ordinary - but absolutely a nice place, but certainly on th country side alongside a nice lake.
