This property is a little cheaper for a reason- it’s simple, a bit dated, and no extras like a pool or hot tub- but that was perfect for us. I prefer to spend more money on food & activities! It was so convenient to walk a few blocks to all the action and night life. It was myself & my teen kid- we walked back nightly around 10pm & never felt unsafe. Very peaceful area- except the dog that lives next door barked every morning around 6am for almost an hour. The owner and property manager were so helpful and friendly. We would absolutely stay here again! My only real issue was GPS kept trying to take us in a road that is not a road. But it only took a day to memorize the route in to the neighborhood from the fast food restaurant down the street!

It had everything you could possibly need for your Aruba vacation. The hostess was the sweetest, most helpful person I could meet. It was far enough away from the craziness yet close to the beach and fun. It was quiet, and cozy and very very clean. There wasn't anything I disliked about the place.

The property was very clean, well kept and in a quiet residential area. Only 5 minutes walk to all the major hotels/ beaches and palm beach mall. You can also walk to eagle beach. The one thing I didn’t really like was the queen bed was two separate beds join together. Guess this is ok if you are not a actual couples. Not sure if all the room are like that. Otherwise the beds were very comfortable.

Carinas has a great location and is close to the main strip and beaches. However the shortest path cuts through a highway and unpaved path, which feels sketchy after dark. In addition, we had a couple issues at the beginning and end of our stay that dampened the experience. When we first arrived, the bed was set up with two twins instead of a king like we reserved. It was fixed quickly, but we found out that a "king" bed is just two twins pushed together with a large sheet over them. Then, on the day of checkout, we were woken up at 8:30AM by the property manager who said she wasn't able to contact us and was wondering if we needed a taxi called. I checked my phone and she had texted me 6 minutes before knocking on the door. While this was a nice gesture, she should have reached out the night before or sometime not at 8AM and found out we had already called our own. Furthermore, the bathroom emitted weird smells the whole time and we had to close the door so it didn't spread to the rest of the room. The bathroom window was not fully covered and we had to put a towel over it ourselves. I'd recommend Carinas for the location, but would not come back again for reasons mentioned above. It did not meet my expectations for a clean, relaxing place to stay while on vacation.

The studio was clean, had a great hot rain shower, a comfortable bed, and new-looking AC that worked well. Marlon was very friendly and helpful. She offered complimentary drinks on arrival, and was available throughout the stay if needed. The room was well stocked with beach towels and chairs, cooking utensils, and even a blender for smoothies. The patio was a great place to sit in the shade and enjoy the breeze. I would stay here again for sure!

Perfect Apartment!
We had an amazing experience at Cariñas for nine days while staying in Aruba. Fully equipped apartment, ready for any kind of trip. We cooked breakfast in our kitchen most mornings to save some money on food. The owners and hostess are all super friendly and hospitable. The semiweekly cleaning is smooth and thorough. The location is great: just minutes from the beach and all sorts of restaurants, but in a calm and quiet residential area. Absolutely zero complaints. I would highly recommend this place for anyone coming to Aruba.

We will be back to this place!
This place is fabulous. My favorite place I’ve stayed on the island! Walking distance to the high-rise District, shops and entertainment, wacky Wahoos, and do look for an Italian restaurant that is not advertised called Anna Maria‘s-also a short walk. We stayed in the Bungalow which was spacious and very clean. The property is well managed and we enjoyed welcome drinks upon arrival. Also walking distance to the beach or a short drive to one of several noteworthy beaches. Great private porch area including a hammock tied to a couple of palm trees. If I had to give any knock it is I did not find the bed very comfortable, but my son said his was very comfortable. So this is more a matter of preference. I’ll try his bed next time, as this place has three beds in two bedrooms. Also a complete kitchen with all of the amenities.

I loved my stay at Cariñas! The manager was extremely friendly and helpful. We enjoyed the beach chairs and snorkel equipment and the location was perfect. The bed was comfortable and the street was peaceful. The location was great for access to Palm Beach which is an easy walk away. I would highly recommend staying here.

We LOVED the Carinas bu Gamow. Our first visit to Aruba and the location was awesome. 5 minute or so walk to the beach but you do have to cross a fairly busy road. Accommodations were great and we especially enjoyed the shower. Bu Gamow has 4 beach chairs and a couple of coolers along with freezer packs. These all really came in handy and were appreciated. There are TVs in both bedrooms and in the family room though we didn’t really use them. Marlon was very responsive to our few texts. Helped us with restaurant recommendations and called a taxi for us to get back to the airport. We would stay here again in a nanosecond. Couldn’t have been happier.

A Fantastic Stay!
My girlfriend and I just came back yesterday from Aruba and we had such a great stay at Cariñas Apartments! Our room was spacious, well kept and had the visitor's comfort in mind. The pictures of the rooms shown on the website are exactly what you get and I mean that in the most positive way! We were also pleasantly surprised with some of the additional items that were available to us such as snorkel equipment, portable drink coolers, and Smart TVs so you can watch Netflix or Youtube after a long day of fun in the sun. My family loved everything about Carinas. We originally booked Holiday Inn Resort & Spa, however they overbooked and told us to find somewhere else to stay. After giving Holiday Inn a piece of our mind, we found Carinas online and the amazing owner Ron. He is awesome. The place is safe, cameras around the outside of the house, grill, beach chairs, beach towels, off spray, etc. Literally has everything you need and more. Walking distance to everything. Ron will also get you a cab when you need one. Price was way affordable than moldy Holiday Inn. I would definitely stay here again.

This property was exactly we were looking for. Spacious apartment with all kitchen amentities and a little patio that was nicely decorated. It was near Palm Beach and close to the nightlife area, so we didn't travel back far. Ron and Rosemary were very helpful when we had some issues with our flight. I would definitely go back!

Can’t say enough!!
First, we were greeted at the apartment by Rosemary who was an absolute genuinely lovely person. She offered us a drink and thoroughly explained everything about the apartment-I was happy to see that towels were freshly changed daily if you wanted (bathroom & beach), as well as the bed made and the garbage taken out. Both the room and bathroom were extremely clean- I honestly probably wouldn’t have stayed if the bathroom wasn’t clean- (I’m that particular when it comes to bathrooms)! AND -huge bonus I thought, they have Aruba Aloe shampoo + conditioner, Bath Gel, and liquid soap available for your use. It is amazing! Rosemary and Ron put together a book full of resources-anything from tours, to restaurants, to beaches, and info about the apartment. If you every had a question they were always available through WhatsApp & had no problem getting back to you. The outside area was very nice & the hammocks were SO relaxing- I completely recommend them. The other people staying in the apartments were kind, but not intrusive & respectful of our vacation as well as quiet. The area was literally a five minute walk, not only to Palm Beach, but also to restaurants (all price ranges), a mall, movies, bowling, shopping, etc. Chairs and snorkel equipment were provided. Rosemary was even kind enough to give us a ride to the grocery store when we arrived. I would not hesitate to return or recommend! Thank you so much for your hospitality-it really made our stay!

I loved the location we were able to walk to the Moomba Beach and the strip each day. It was quiet and although it was a little secluded area we felt safe with the locked gate. Ron, the owner, was helpful with getting a taxi when we needed it. The only con I would say is the furniture could use some updating and the bed was very firm, but it was not enough to keep me from staying there again.

Beautiful Place To Relax
The apartments are about two blocks from the Palm Beach area shopping area (which is best enjoyed in the evening or night) and about five blocks from Palm Beach. There are plenty of things to do and places to eat within walking distance. However, car rentals are cheap in Aruba and it is very easy to navigate anywhere on the island. We didn’t even bother getting a data plan or bring a GPS like we normally do in foreign countries. We just hit the road because it’s that easy in Aruba. Also, there is free WiFi just about everywhere including Palm and Eagle Beaches. As other people have said, Ron is very helpful and accommodating. He will help you with car rentals and excursions if you want and his suggestions are not rip-offs. For example, his deal with a car company included insurance and was about the same price as a rental (without insurance) from a major U.S. company. (In full disclosure, I used the U.S. company because of other considerations and didn’t factor in insurance costs because I relied on the protection that Visa provides, which I’ve found satisfactory on several occasions and have used to reimburse claims). So, if being in a really nice spot, but not in the middle of the party with loud people in hallways is what you’re looking for, I recommend these apartments. Our, if you have a little one like me and you don’t want to worry about impacting other people’s vacations, stay here. Super quiet, and super relaxing.
