Not the same as usual
We stay here every year. This year was a little different because of corona. No breakfast buffet or pool. While I understand that those are requirements I would have liked that info beforehand because the price was still the same. The breakfast was not very well organized. As a guest who has stayed here many times, i know that it is usually better. So lets hope next time we get our breakfast buffet and sauna again.

Oh I do love to be beside the seaside
The hotel was handy walking distance from the main train station. The rear of the hotel faced the sea, and there is the promenade between the hotel and rhe sea. The room which we had faced the waterfront.The room was comfortable, but would have loved to have a kettle in the room. The windows could be opened, which meant a fresh seabreeze in the room which was very nice. The breakfast had a wide selection, and the outdoor dining area overlooked the sea. The hotel probably needs a little cosmetic work, but not to interfere with its overall charm. Stepping into the hotel It feels like a bygone era. The travel card for the local area is handy, taking you as far as Prora on the bus line, and to the kleinbahnhof to catch Rasender Roland through to various highlights on the island, such as Sellin. The pier at Binz is walking distance. The hotel also has 2 restaurants and a bar, as well as an outside bar / cafe which serves until 19:00 (in summer while we were there). Would I stay here again? Yes, I think I would.

Great location
Had a lovely stay here. Right on the Strand promenade and only 2 minutes to the beach. Rooms are very spacious and clean. Would have liked to have had a coffee maker though...early riser here and no coffee unless you went down to the front desk and then it was a bit of a challenge to get the coffee. Room service in the morning doesn't start until 8am. Was a great breakfast upstairs on the 6th floor. Amazing views and the food selection at the buffet was fantastic!

Old hotel needs an update
+ Close to the beach + Friendly staff + Great breakfast - Bathrooms are terribly designed, e.g. bathtub without a shower curtain make it impossible to shower without flooding the floor, separate hot and cold faucets, hot water is almost boiling - Furniture and carpets are worn-out - No parking spot available during our 1-week stay - Worn-out mattresses - Elevators too slow and can't handle high time traffic

Great Location
This hotel has old world charm and does a fantastic breakfast. The pool is nice too and the location right on the beach and near the town centre. Don't stay near Binz pier BTW as they play live music and have a market til late. Great to visit but noisy. Good restaurants near the hotel and there is soooo much to do on the island. We LOVED the tree top walks and the submarine. The beds were not great however too soft, but would not put us off.

Preis Leistung top. Man bekommt sehr viel geboten. Hotel liegt direkt am Strand, tolle Spaziergänge sind möglich. Schöne Saunalandschaft und tolles Frühstücksbuffet. Im Flur könnte der Teppich mal erneut werden, die Zimmer waren aber Einwand. Personal war sehr nett und freundlich. Wir buchen das Hotel auf jeden Fall nochmal,uns hat es sehr gefallen ****

Leider mussten wir gleich am ersten Tag unser Zimmer wechseln, da das Fenster kaputt/ ausgehakt war. Aber das Problem wurde gut und den Umständen entsprechend schnell gelöst.

Positiv: Das Hotel liegt direkt am Strand in Binz, vom Frühstücksraum im 6. Stock hat man einen tollen Blick auf das Meer, zudem ist das Hotel mit den öffentlichen Verkehrsmitteln sehr gut erreichbar Negativ: Die Einrichtung ist veraltete, Sessel und Stühle im Zimmer als auch im Frühstücksraum sind fleckig und stark abgenutzt. Der Duschkopf im Bad war verkalkt und die Armaturen schon fast historisch alt. Der Teppich im Treppenhaus ist extrem abgenutzt und verdreckt (müsste getauscht werden putzen hilft hier nichts mehr). Der Wellnessbereich bietet eigentlich alles (Schwimmbad, Sauna, Dampfbad, Ruheraum) leider ist auch hier alles veraltet, abgelebt und riecht zum Teil muffig und modrig. Der Frischluftraum im Saunabereich ist leider auch alles andere als einladend (Zwei alte Stühle und absolut verdreckte Fenster). Leider gibt es laktosefreie Milch wohl nur zum Frühstück. Zum Nachmittagskaffee konnte man meine Bitte nach laktosefreier Milch nicht erfüllen. Fazit: Der Stil der Einrichtung ist Geschmackssache, mir aber leider viel zu überladen. Trotz toller Lage werde ich dieses Hotel aufgrund der genannten Negativpunkte nicht mehr buchen.

Zimmer war OK bis auf das sich eine Teppichkante gelöst hatte. Betten sind relativ weich. Fahrstuhl war einer den ganzen Aufenthalt defekt und der ander am Abreisetag.

Ich habe mich sehr wohl gefühlt. Das Personal war sehr nett. Hier ist der Kunde noch König. Was möglich war wurde möglich gemacht. Frühstück reichliches Angebot. Allerdings ab 07.30 Uhr auch schon sehr voll - da natürlich Hauptsaison. Pool ab 7.00 Uhr auch schon gut besucht. In meinem Zimmer waren die Vorhänge nicht wirklich Blickdicht, zumal auch seitlich die Leuchtreklame des Hotel-Namens rein strahlt. Die Verhänge ließen sich auch schlecht bis gar nicht richtig ziehen. Des weiteren ist ab 5.00 Uhr morgens ununterbrochen Krach von der darüber liegen Küche. An Schlafen war dann nicht mehr zu denken. Das Zimmer 501 sollte entsprechend gemieden mieden.

Hotel sehr in die Jahre gekommen. Dreckige Möbel, Matratzen zu breit für Bettgestell. Keine 4 Sterne. Umgebung großartig, sowie freundliche Servicekräfte. Frühstück super, Buffet mal schlecht mal gut. Für den Preis was besseres erwartet. Teuer in den Nebenkosten ( z.b. Getränke etc.)

Kein Zugang von der Strandpromenade. Nur zwei Fahrstühle für das ganze Hotel. Einer davon ist schon seit 1 Woche außer Betrieb. Das Restaurant und Frühstück ist im 6 Stock. Alle waren nur am meckern über nur den einen Fahrstuhl. Empfang Personal sehr freundlich. Frühstück große Auswahl und lecker. Abendessen nicht so mein Ding. Viel mit Fisch etc. Geschmacksache... Keine Klimaanlage für ein 4 Sterne Hotel. Kühlschrank im Zimmer sehr alt und Energie Verbrauch hoch.

Super Lage, sauber, Abzug in der P-Note
Wir hatten eine Suite mit Balkon und Badewanne und waren damit sehr zufrieden. Das Hotel ist hübsch eingerichtet und sehr sauber. Wir waren wegen Zeitmangels nicht im Spa, auch wenn uns von andere Gästen sehr empfohlen wurde. Das Hotel liegt direkt an der Strandpromenade, auch wenn der Zugang hintenrum ist. Unser Navi war wegen der Adresse Strandpromenade 62 irritiert. Man sollte Proraer Str. 19 als Ziel eingeben, das ist das der Zufahrt gegenüberliegende Grundstück. Was nicht unseren Aufenthalt leicht eingetrübt hat war das überforderte Personal. Der Herr beim Checkin konnten wir wegen seines Akzents und weil er sehr leise sprach kaum verstehen. Das sehr gute Frühstücksbüffet litt unter den Coronabedingungen, da nur die Hälfte der Plätze besetzt werden konnten. Die Kellner waren sehr flink beim Zubereiten von Spiegeleiern und beim Abräumen und Neueindecken der Tische. Leider war die Dame am Empfang überfordert bei der Zuteilung der Tische. Uns wies sie am ersten Tag einen besetzten Tisch zu. Am zweiten Tag sah ich sie die Kellner bei der Arbeit behindern. Der Checkout zog sich sehr lange hin. Wir hatten den Aufenthalt über Hotels.com bezahlt, was die Damen jedoch nicht ihn ihrem System sehen konnten (wo die Buchung als mit Expedia gebucht angezeigt wurde). Sie wollten sogar einen Kontoauszug sehen, ob das Geld bei uns schon abgebucht sei. War es aber nicht, da wir kurzfristig gebucht hatten. Letztendlich haben wir zur Sicherheit unsere Kreditkartendaten hinterlassen.

Das ist ein schönes Hotel. Sehr ruhig, gute Küche, tolles Schwimmbad. Das einzige was mich sehr gestört hat war wie Schroff das Personal war. Beim Check-in habe ich sprachlich ein bisschen gestolpert nach eine lange Einreise. Dies wurde nach gemacht von der Mann am check in. Das geht überhaupt nicht. Im gehobene Hotel gehört auch Feinfühligkeit was hier leider deutlich fehlt.
