Beautiful quiet hotel in Banos.
Enjoyed our stay in Banos. The owners were helpful and gracious. Breakfast was delicious. The hotel is a bit of a walk from the centre and from the bus station. The only problem was that other guests arrived at 3 am, so the door bell ringing woke us up.

The Heart of Banos
We booked at the Napolitano for a weekend stay. The property was very clean, safe and easy to get to. The family running it speaks excellent English and were able to guide us towards activities in the area, tours, restaurants, etc. As a bonus, they cook breakfast every morning - the food and service were excellent. I highly recommend the Napolitano for your stay in Banos. Everything is in walking distance. Our room was spacious and clean.

Grand & comfortable stay
It's a b&b converted from a grand house. It's located a short walking distant from the busy commercial center. Therefore, is doesn't has the noises or distractions of people or cars. The room is spacey and clean. Breakfasts were freshly made on the spot. Although, the menu is dictated by the kitchen but food and services were adequate. It has a great window view of mountains & small garden from my room. It's a short walk to the hot spring and downtown area. I felt very safe walk alone on the streets around the hotel by myself around midnight after the hot sprint bath. The only complain I had would be the wifi services. I stayed at 3rd floor and the wifi didn't seems work inside my room.

Great little gem in downtown Baños
Stayed at the Napolitano Hotel for two nights in June 2016. The hotel is located only a few blocks from downtown Baños. The staff was very friendly and the room was great.

Great hotel for a stay in Banos!
We spent 4 wonderful days at Hotel Napolitano. It had all of the conveniences that we required and more. It is a family run hotel and they are hard working and very attentive to their guests. The hotel is in a great location with short walks to downtown Baños and to the hot springs. The grounds were well maintained and the pool was clean and refreshing. We stayed in a large, comfortable suite that had beautiful views from all of the windows. During our stay we went on a waterfall excursion with the owner's son who spoke good English and was eager to give us a good experience. The daughter was very friendly, knowledgeable about activities in and around Banos and made delicious breakfasts. To top of our stay, the father drove us to the bus stop when we left. We would highly recommend the Napolitano.

Fantastic hotel, it was perfect all around.
We had a FANTASTIC stay at this hotel, its a very small town so location its really not important, it was like two blocks from the main square, the views were incredible, we really loved the breakfast, the rooms were big and clean, the service was great and we felt appreciated as guests. I highly recommend this hotel, it will not dissapoint you at all, i will certainly stay here again with no doubt.

Secure and well-kept small modern hotel.
Hotel was within a secure compound with swimming pool and outside sitting area. Room was large, clean, and comfortable. The owner is very involved in the operation of the hotel and was very helpful. The breakfast was excellent. Only a few blocks walk to almost everything.

Lots of Lost in Translation
It is the little things; no rainfall showerhead, no 24 hour room service for food rather just if you need us ring but not for food as anticipated. Although this family run hotel did try to make up for the inconvenience by helping us order then going to pick it up as it was past delivery hours. One other slight inconvenience is dinner was not permitted in the room, we had to dress again to eat in the common dining area. This place was ok, not what was advertised but still ok. We would prefer to know what we are getting into ...

Room was nice,clean and good shower. problems were breakfast was supposed to start at 8 (later than we would have liked) and nothing was ready. Pool was empty undergoing renovation, there was a cacophony (sp?) of barking dogs late into the night and no water for many hours. Okay,things happen but there was no one around to tell us why or when it would return. Finally got it again in the late afternoon. No apologies from anyone.

Nice stay
Enjoyed my stay. Nice, clean room with view of mountains. Short walk to hustle bustle, but far enough where you don't get the noise. Excellent breakfast with beautiful view, friendly owners. Pool not open yet, nor spa - but it's coming. Owners can help with any activity you want to do. Thumbs up!

Our stay here was wonderful. Small, quiet and very clean, privately owned hotel. Great price!! Gated grounds, so try to get there before 8pm. Very nice and helpful owner.

Like staying at home: without any of the chores
This is a family run business and had magnificent attention to detail. They treated you like family. The morning of my departure, the mother got out of bed very early and personally drove me to the bus terminal, since no taxis were running. I had magnificent bedroom views of the valley of Banos and sat on the side of the volcano, with smoke clearly visible from the back windows of the hotel. I will stay at this location when I return to Banos, without hesitation.

Way Beyond Our Expectations
We were at the end of a two month visit of Peru and Ecuador and had 3 days to fill before flying home from Quito. We decided to drive to Baños de Agua Santa for the beautiful vistas, the thermal baths, and hiking opportunities. We booked a room at the Napolitano Hotel based on recent reviews, rates, and location. When we arrived, the proprietress showed us to a room on the top (3rd/4th in the U.S.) floor and apologized that it wasn't the type of room we had rented, but it was the only room left in the hotel. Wow! The room was an immaculate apartment suite with a kitchen, dining area, living area, fireplace, separate bedroom, a bathroom with a large round shower that included a concave picture window looking out on the beginning of the Amazon basin, and a large bedroom with a king bed and ample storage space for our luggage. Each morning we awoke to views of the Virgen de Agua Santa waterfall and the surrounding volcanic foothills; all told, the suite offered more than 270 degree views of the valley. And to top it all off with a bang, the local volcano, Tungurahua, erupted for the first time in two months early on our second morning. The boom from the eruption generated a sonic wave that, besides being possibly the loudest noise I've ever heard, shook the suite windows for several seconds afterward. So, in every way, even ways beyond the owners' control, we were overjoyed with our stay at Napolitano.

Unfortunately we did not have hot water in our shower. Shower itself was "state of the art". We think they had run out of propane but with the language barrier was unable to get accurate information.

Best place to stay in Banos!
I had a wonderful stay at the Napolitano. It's a lovely place owned and run by a wonderful family, I was made to feel like a guest in their home. My room was clean and spacious yet cozy with a beautiful view of the mountains. The hotel is very private with a pretty garden and soon the pool and jacuzzis will be complete. I had a nice big shower with hot water which was just what I needed after a day of white water rafting and canyoneering. Each morning my breakfast was prepared for me by Jackie or her husband. Even though I don't speak Spanish and they don't speak much English we managed to communicate and they made sure I had everything I needed. They and their daughter Carla helped me to book tours and Carla even took me on a tour of the town and walked with me to a church on the hill overlooking the town. The entire family made me feel so welcome that it was hard to leave.

Great Hotel in Banos
I reserved this hotel before leaving the US and was extremely pleased with its location out of teh downtown noise. The property is well kept and the rooms were very clean. We enjoyed the hot showers. Jackie was an amazing host and we ended up staying an extra night. I loved the privacy of the gated property.

This place is still a work in progress - the swimming pool and hot tub are nearly finished, and the owner told us they're planning a sauna as well. Already the rooms are beautiful, the owners friendly and helpful. Our room was simply and classily decorated, the bath had some of the most beautiful tile we've ever seen. Our window looked out to a waterfall in the distance. Breakfast (included) was substantial and tasty. The hostal is a 5-minute walk from the town square... far enough to be quieter than many other options, but close enough to be convenient. A neighborhood rooster (common in Ecuador) was a slight annoyance in the morning... but not enough to be an issue. A landslide on the road out of town kept us there an extra day, and that wasn't a bad thing at all!

Hotel was clean, but the attendant (only one) knew nothing about how to deal with guests. She even charged me again even though I had already payed through Expedia. We had no hot water because someone else was taking a shower¿ Can you believe it?. Also, She didn't know breakfast was included. We were very disappointed.

Banos Break.
The hotel is some way out of town but away from the noise. Would get a taxi if arriving by bus. Room was good as was the shower. The bed was squeaky and the single glazed window didn't keep out the noise of dogs barking and roosters crowing during the night. The breakfast was pretty good for the money but was offered at the owner's restaurant several blocks away which was a bit inconvenient. The owners spoke little English but were as helpful as possible. Looking around the hotels and hostels in Banos, this hotel seemed an oasis of calm and cleanliness. Building is still going on in terms of facilities e.g. Pool, jacuzzi amd none was available when we stayed there's.

Napolitano Apart&Hotel
The hosts of Napolitano were friendly and attentive. They were most helpful in making recommendations where we could find items for which we were shopping . The room was spotless and very comfortable with a beautiful view of the mountains. The private bath with over sized, tile shower and hot water were wonderful. The outside, covered patio was lovely and a nice place to sit. We felt very comfortable and secure during our stay. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the ability to walk to restaurants and shopping. We highly recommend this as a GREAT place for adults to stay.

À proximité du parc central et des boutiques et restaurants. Les déjeuners étaient bons et copieux. La tenancière me semblait préoccupée, échangeait très peu avec moi malgré ma maîtrise de la langue espagnole. La piscine n'était pas disponible.

A una distancia conveniente de las principales calles y en linea recta este es un super lugar para quedarse en Baños. La atención departe de Paul y si hermana y todo el equipo lo hacen sentir a uno especial. El desayuno gratuito basta para comenzar bien el día. El cuarto cómodo y limpio. Deberán pronto sustituir la ya antigua T. V. por una plana mas grande y moderna. La vista del comedor es en verdad bella. La piscina buena para cuando haga calor. Lástima que el Jaccuzi no funcionó, deben arreglarlo pronto. Buen precio a través de Hotels.com, rápida, segura y cómoda reservación on-line. Recomiendo el lugar. Yo me quedé dos noches a principios de Octubre. Todo en Baños se puede alcanzar caminando inclusive la estación de autobuses.

The hotel and attention of the owners are great. The only thing I would change is make the breakfast a bit more self-service so that it doesnt take so long. Soemtimes tours leave at 9 am, and breakfast starts at 8 - but it takes 20 minutes to serve - so it's kind of tight. Either breakfast needs to start earlier or be already served/ more buffet-self service style to expedite it.

Situé à distance de marche du centre. Personnel de l'hôtel très aidant se débrouillant en anglais. Chambre très propres et confortables. Il y avait des chiens qui aboyaient dans le voisinage qu'on entendait dans notre chambre.

Parece una fortaleza, totalmente cerrado, necesitas pedir permiso para entrar o salir. En dos ocasiones intente entrar y naie contestaba la puerta. Buenas instalaciones pero no vale ese precio, ademas que para las ofertas de hoteles que hay en baños esta un poco alejado de todo!!
