About this space
Often voted the best town to live in N. Ireland and its not difficult to see why! When staying at our 2BR/2Bath Apt you will be a 2 minute walk from Holywood High Street and its many coffee shops, curios, bars and restaurants. A 5 minute walk takes you to the beautiful north Down coastline where you can walk for miles and enjoy stunning scenery, sunsets and beaches. And if you do feel the need to head into Belfast, simply jump on the train for a relaxing 10 minute journey. Perfect!
The space
SPACE
The apartment is spacious and tastefully decorated. You have your own parking space that is conveniently located just a few steps from the apartment door. It is on the ground floor so there is no need to climb any stairs for access. Inside you have a large double room with private ensuite. Moving down the hallway you have a very convenient twin room (rare!) and master bathroom. Moving into the main part of the apartment you will find an open plan living space with comfy lounge seating, a smart TV, and dining table and chairs. The kitchen is also joined onto this area and has everything you need to whip up some delicious home made meals.
NEIGHBOURHOOD
The apartment is situated in the beautiful town of Holywood. Famous for its quaint convenient high street, its shoreline walks, its amazing restaurants and of course Rory McIlroy! You are a couple of minutes walk from all the conveniences of the town and about 10 minutes walk from the station where you can hop on the train to Belfast or Bangor and enjoy the scenery along the way. To drive to Belfast only takes about 10 minutes so you can be close to the city but stay in a nice tranquil seaside neighbourhood. Our recommendations for places to go include the Maypole for the best Guinness in Ireland (fact!) and Noble for some amazing food (you need to book!). You also have lots of other bars coffee shops and cuisines to choose from. There are great stores that sell lots of interesting curios and trinkets and its always great to shop local so please pop in and buy if you are in the market for anything!
The area is also famous for its golf courses and within a few miles you have some great ones including Holywood Golf Club, Royal Belfast Golf Club and Carnalea Golf Club.
CONVENIENCE
For your convenience, entry is via smart lock located just beside the door so you can arrive at any time after 3pm (Don't worry if you get held up!), free parking is available right in front of the apartment and there is a washing machine that is free to use in case you are in the middle of a longer trip and need to do a quick clothes wash. If you have 2 cars there is also some visitor parking and if it is full you will be able to find some free on street parking nearby.
FLEXIBLE
Finally, we want to be as accommodating as possible so although check in is after 3pm and check out is prior to 11am, if you do need leeway on this we will be happy to provide it if possible! Just ask us closer to the time :)
Other things to note
This is a residential area and there is a strict no party rule. In addition to this we can not allow any extra guests other than those for whom it has been booked without prior permission. We also ask that you keep the noise to a minimum especially at the more unsociable hours.
