It was very cold because the heating wasn't on very long and had been turned down the water was cold too so didn't have a shower The breakfast was excellent and the staff very friendly but I think the wrong person was on reception

Staff Nathan was lovely on the reception. The room we expected to be a bit bigger. A few little upgrades could be made. Clean and tidy apart from the light off the ceiling was very dusty. Got a takeaway but but wasnt able to eat in the room as others have spoiled this for genuine people. All in all we did have a great weekend. Wouldnt stay there again due to tge rules.

The hotel is tired and needs updating. We had the presidential suite and although it is spacious and has a great view it didn't feel worth the extra charge.

Nothink was goig about the property the first they me smelt like rotton eggs and the other room the kettle wouldnt turn off on its own

From what started off as an absolutely terrible holiday from another place we had booked, coming here turned it around so much and made the rest of our time enjoyable, checkin was very quick and easy and friendly staff, rooms are nice and clean would a good sized tv and everything else you would need, I stayed with my partner and 2 year old, Ian, breakfast staff was absolutely brilliant with even the little things like setting the high chair up at the table we chose on only the second morning there and he made us feel so welcome. This is definitely where I will be staying if I’m ever in Blackpool again absolutely loved it.

got at property was told could leave car 7quid for 1 night but could not have room while 3...fair enough..got back early cos wife not well and sat in reception played on slot machine and it broke owing me money told the one staff that was on at the time and said would it help turning it off and on,he said no but he would contact someone,went to shop and when i got back the machine was working he said he turned it off and on and it worked but no money came out what a load of crap,i think he took it and it never got reported, 3 oclock still not ready told ten mins more,was given key at 3.30 went to room to be told by cleaners its not ready if reception had told us we would have done it early,went back down to reception and got in room at ten to 4...breakfast was good but evening meal was not good no choice as not enough booked for meal so was given either chicken or beef and had to have what they fetched out to you..room was clean and big enough lift very small better to use stairs if you can, would i go again...no... some of staff ok (not the stealing t..t but most did not want to be there and all they did was moan...do yourself a favour and try somwhere else

Lovely greeting by Callum (not so great by the different man when leaving). Ian (stand in chef) was lovely, very friendly and chatty. Disappointed with no shelves in the shower to place your toiletries on, the sea view wasn’t the best (was at the side of the property), there was sweets behind one of the cupboards al over the floor and no evening meal option (just one choice) but overall the stay was made good by Callum and Ian thanks guys

tired hotel requires investment
hotel was ok, only a few people staying so the bar was shut, breakfast was very good and a great server on hand. parking was £ 7 pounds so i declined it. parked 25 yds away in the street for free.

AN ENJOYABLE CHRISTMAS

If a cheap stay is what you want.
I got an exceptional price for a weekday stay online for 3 nights. The pictures and reviews were ok. My single room occupancy was opposite the lift. Which opened and closed through the night and was quite noisy. The mattress was almost flat and very very uncomfortable. Who knows how old it is. I phoned to get a room change but was advised to do it in person, when I arrived in person to discuss this the staff had left and I could not change. I booked for 3 nights but only stayed the first 2.

Brilliant stay at the president
We totally enjoyed our stay at the president hotel ...from arriving early to leaving the staff were very friendly and helpful..from the young man on reception to the young man at the bar and especially the the waiting staff an one man in particular named ian ...who made us feel very welcome and spoke to us every time we went to eat ..the food is beautiful and being a chef myself im normally very critical ...but not this time ...the president is ideal for anyone just wanting to chill out or do the sights ...we chilled an enjoyed the evening entertainment ..we will definitely be back next yr ...many thanks guys

We had a lovely stay made to feel welcome from the minute we walked through the door. Staff very friendly and polite. Room was warm & beds were clean and comfortable. The food was very good with options for everyone.

The Hotel was clean but the room we were in had curtains hanging off the rails and a kettle that leaked and flooded the chest of draws. It was reported but nothing was done. The breakfast was excellent and the staff in there very polite and helpful.. There as a member of staff on the reception that wasn't very attentive was more concerned about what was happening elsewhere and not providing the attention he should with new guests checking in. He also needs to be spoken to about his personal hygiene as the whole reception smelt of his body odour. The entertainment was okay but very dated and we had teenage children with us. I don't think I will be stopping there again.

The hotel was clean. The curtains were hanging off in room 212 and although reported never fixed. The kettle leaked all over the dressing table nd reported but not changed. There was a member of staff on reception that needed more care over his hygiene as he smelt badly if BO. The breakfast was fabulous and the staff in their very polite. Overall I will not stay again

The room wasn't the best i have stayed in at this hotel was quite cold and not letting enough heat out stayed on floor four in a family room great views from the room but was blowing a gail the windows wear letting cold air blow through even though they was shut overall everything else was fine

Nice hotel on the seafront
It was off peak so there was not the entertainment offer that is advertised. But this also meant that I got the room for a good price. The staff were friendly on arrival and the room was comfortable. I was so impressed that I rebooked to stay a further couple of nights

3 night break!
Lovely hotel was greeted at the front desk given my key and onto the 2nd floor Double 4 Poster bed Large room also with window looking out over the sea Bath with spa features Really comfy room aswell with digital tv Entertainment and Bingo aswell Only negative no tea and coffee facilities in room had cups and kettle though Would recommend 👍

Room was cold at night as the heating went off at 10pm and there wasn't enough bedding available so I slept in my clothes to keep warm. also the bathroom light was inoperative, otherwise room was adequate.

Arrived at the above property greeted by staff and told parking would be £7 per night extra showed to room to find we had been allocated a room about the size of a cool room and no warmer asked if heating could be turned but was not working requested a different room but informed there would be extra £20 per night extra agreed to pay the difference then was told the upgrade would cost £80 refused to pay. Asked manager for refund for parking and booking fees said they did not do refunds I would have to contact head office and it would cost you a lot more to book another hotel at this time my partner and I went and discussed this we both agreed to pay the extra with great reluctance. Went to pay, a younger man said he had spoken to his manager and could offer a discount, paid £50 in the end.r
