Worst service ever.
This is the second time I have stayed here this month and the service has gone from bad to worse. Sat in the restaurant for 1.5 hrs waiting for my burger. Distinct lack of staff, with no one coming to apologies why the food was taking so long. As I got up to leave to walk to McDonalds, the person sat on the table next to me finally got his bowl of soup. The hotel is of a reasonable standard with a pool and gym. If you want to eat, walk the 5 mins to Boldon colliery retail park.
