Amazing front-of-house staff - very warm and welcoming with multiple suggestions to enjoying your time in York. Super walkable to "touristy" destinations - and very walkable from the train depending on home much luggage you're hauling. We struggled getting hot water in the shower - more of a room temp. But all in all, an absolutely beautiful property and fun, kitschy Churchill theme and decor - super cute.

I thought that this hotel represented excellent value for money. My room was lovely and beautifully decorated. The toiletries in the bathroom were very nice indeed. The tea and coffee making facilities were excellent. Good quality (Yorkshire) tea bags, and instead of the little tubes of very poor quality coffee, there were proper coffee bags, including a decaf option. A choice of white or brown sugar was available and I definitely appreciated the kitkats!.I will definitely visit again.
