Cool place during a hot week
We were concerned that staying in a caravan during a heat wave would be uncomfortable, but shade from the trees and good ventilation meant that it was fine and a good place to shelter from the excess heat at times. And it was clean, quiet, beautiful views and very well located for all we wanted to do. There seemed to be a problem with the TV connection, but it was good to be without for a proper break. Dogs were also very comfortable.

Last minute weekend break
First time booking Vrbo, wont be last. The whole stay was excellent from start to finish. Caravan spotless but did have problems with tv. No ones fault think was just signal. Was SO peaceful, just what we all needed. Was great to be able to feed the donkeys and see all the lambs close up. EXCELLENT stay hopefully be back soon.

Problems galore
Carbon monoxide alarms went off. Fire unusable, as was cooker ring. Shower not great. Hidden switches for things ,no instructions to be found. Driveway only for 4 wheel drive vehicles. However it was quiet.

Fantastic peaceful getaway
What a great place for peace and quiet. Spent 7 days there. The surroundings area pure Pennines and to see cows and sheep out of the window every morning makes a refreshing change. (Don't get into a staring match with the cows... They don't give in!! Even from the caravan window! ) Booked for it's secluded location away from others and noise for my son's sensory needs and it doesn't disappoint. He felt very comfortable there and went for little walks in the evening. Cycling in the area, along the Lambley Viaduct area, is nice too. Brampton is the nearest small town and has a bit of everything you might need for food shopping, with Spar and a Co-op being the main supermarkets. A handful of take aways (Brampton Tandoori is lovely), butchers and a Cranston's for great food produce. Matthew is really helpful with everything and Simon, the farmer on site, is able to assist with anything should you need to ask. They are unbelievably busy farmers and work very hard....I even got to see Simon on his quad bike run a bull back into its field! They run very fast!! The caravan basically does what it says on the post so don't hesitate if you want the privacy and great surroundings. Highly recommended by us 👍🏻
