I may be wrong but I believe the front desk staff were the owners. I only say that to say that they were very friendly and my check in was easy. No complaints on the room. The room was clean and bed comfortable. The other guests were quiet and there were no vacancies. I wouldn’t hesitate to stay there again if needed.

There’s not much competition in this area for RRI to put forth more than the minimum effort. The hallways are kept at a balmy 80 degrees. The days of a quality or even semi quality breakfast is in the history books. Toast, cereal, mini waffles is the extent of the menu. Yep that’s it. Coffee was respectable. showers are always nice after a long day. The shelf that looked like it was stuck on with caulk is missing. Exposed wires and open exhaust fan was curiously interesting to stare at (after the respectable coffee)… I yelled at the dog in the middle of the night. I thought he peed. It was the AC unit backing up condensation onto the floor.

We have stayed at this hotel multiple times and always have a good experience. The owners are very friendly. This is a pet friendly hotel with lots of flat ground to walk your dog. They have basic continental breakfast with waffles. Hotel located right off highway near 2 truck stops and a Wendy's. Will be staying again soon

They charged me an extra $100 with no explanation. When I called to ask why they said “their computers were down, and that they would get back with me.” Only they never got back with me. When I called back a second time I got a voicemail where I explained that I needed to know why I was charged the extra $100 or I would be leaving this on a review. I never heard back from them. Hence the review. My son and I are tidy hotel stayers, and literally just stayed the night, showered, ate breakfast and left. Customer service should be a top priority when dealing with people and is extremely lacking. I consider this theft.

There was no elevator. Had to drag all of our stuff up to 2nd floor at the end of a long day. Hot breakfast consisted of waffles with no eggs or anything like that to go with it. The lady that was working was friendly and nice. It said pet friendly, but the guy made it seem like a big deal that my kitten would be sleeping in the room with us.

The smell of smoke and musk was really strong in the room. If there wasn’t a smell I could have tolerated sleeping here. I tried covering my face for the night with the blankets/sheets which helped. The owner is extremely friendly and the bed was clean. The bathroom on the other hand was not. There were dead bugs in the ceiling light and the corners/crevices of the room were caked with old grime. I feel sorry leaving this review but yikes

Stayed for one night and needed a nice quiet place to stay in. Front desk personnel was very nice and friendly. Easy check in and check out, and very welcoming. Clean area no complains. Will consider staying there again if we need a place in the area.

Nice, take a look at the city if you've got time.
The Red Roof in Franklin was clean and comfortable. The neighborhood was safe. If you head into Franklin, it's a cool older town. The downtown area (about a mile and a half away) has some neat little shops, and it's a pretty place. The room needed some work on little things, like a cracked light switch and maybe a paint job. The breakfast was bread, some rolls, cereal, and a waffle maker, so don't be too excited about it even though it does fill the hole. You get a little more than what you pay for here.

The room itself was clean as was the bed, no concerns with the overall condition of the room at all but I was frustrated that other guests were allowed to blast their music straight through the night and management did nothing. It started at 10pm and was still going when I checked out at 530am. The floors and walls were shaking and it was clearly audible from the lobby. I left there more tired than when I arrived.

The room was very clean however it was extremely small for 2 beds and 4 people. They would only provide us with 2 towels for 4 people. When I would ask for additional towels, I was told "No, I'd have to wait". I had to explain the situation each time to get 2 additional towels that should have been provided initially. The water pressure was very disappointing, especially since the faucet and control were loose. Breakfast options were practically nonexistent, cereal or waffles, nothing else. Won't stay there again.
