"From day one we found communication with the team so easy. When we arrived, it felt very relaxed and easy. The wine tasting and lunch was absolutely brilliant! Then our wedding! Wow I was blown away with how beautiful everything was and how smooth the day went. It was everything plus more. Can't wait to return for a wine tasting or two. If you want a warm family feeling tgen this is the place for it. Bonus points for the resident cat who stole our hearts."

"We booked our stay at Villa Petrolo to host 20 guests (and one toddler) for a wedding/elopement. Our stay was fantastic from start to finish. The villa itself is beautifully decorated and looks even better in person. Each room has its own personality and there is plenty of space for everyone to enjoy time as a group or alone. The grounds are peaceful, picturesque and well taken care of. Thank you to Marco who was responsive, answered all of our questions and was extremely helpful with booking and throughout our stay. We had a wine tasting and a cooking class that everyone loved! Laura and Francesca were an absolute delight and were so kind and helpful. Everyone at Villa Petrolo really made our stay stress free and ensured the wedding day went seamlessly and according to plan. We all had the most amazing time!"

"This is a great property, however I could never communicate with owner, manager or VRBO. I booked this place in January for a stay in September and was kicked around from all of these entities for any of my questions. This place never showed up in “My Trips” but I was assured by email that it was booked. The address that was given for the place on my booking voucher was wrong . Two of us were dropped off at different places. We were given more accurate addresses when we checked in. At one point we had an emergency (involving another guest at the place) and no one answered any of the 3 phone numbers we had been given for the place. I finally got a response from a Bellavilla email I sent. This is a multiple unit site which not not made clear in listing where the pool is shared. If the communication problems are straightened out, this place would be a great family reunion location."

"Really nice place….excellent accommodation, brilliant pool, cinema room great hit with children on hot afternoons, lovely outdoor eating areas, nice location on edge of interesting village and in easy reach of Sienna, Florence and Arezzo. Owners were extremely friendly and helpful."

"Surprisingly good hotel, service, staff, everything. Very lovely, def recommend. The only thing that for me was missing was maybe one meat option that is not pork for breakfast. Everything else great!"

"We had a really nice stay at Poggio Del Drago!! Very peaceful location outside the city but Arezzo is easily accessible by car or bus. We did not have a car and Emanuele kindly picked us up from the train station which was much appreciated. Breakfast was great every morning, the rooms were clean and we always felt very safe. Beautiful views, would absolutely stay again!"
