Very hard to review this place. We arrived at 1 p.m. to find the door locked and no indication as to when we might get in. (Yes, check-in was at 3, but you expect somebody to answer the door most of the day.) We left our car parked on the street and killed two hours walking in the town. At 3 p.m. the door was open and we were shown to our room by a lady who said we weren't allowed to park in the street and might have incurred a 40 euro fine (which will surely come to us through our rental car company later). By this time, of course, we had lost any possibility of seeing much of the town or the area in what we had hoped would be a free afternoon. Our hostess, who proved to be very kind, directed us to an area behind the building where we could park overnight, very convenient, more or less right under our room upstairs and at the back of the building. We wanted to leave at 8 a.m., before
breakfast service starts, so she promised sandwiches and juice that had appeared in our fridge when we returned from dinner that evening. Very very much appreciated! Our room was quite large and clean, with small fridge, microwave, kettle and coffee materials. The WiFi worked well. There were lots
of electrical outlets for charging. The bed was large and reasonably comfortable.
