Great place to stay. The staff was very friendly and the room was much larger than we expected. Breakfast was served family style and fairly simple.

Early April was a little off season in Melnik but it is an interesting town and the U Rytire is a convenient place to stay.We took the ,winter garden, room which comes with a sitting room/kitchen.There is a good restaurant opposite,and the Chateau beside the hotel is a MUST visit.
