"So surprised at this place, did not expect as much as it had to offer, it was beautiful! Food was delicious, staff friendly, everything you’d expect from an Irish hotel. Breakfast was the best (apart from my sisters house) I’ve had on my whole three week trip, through various parts of the country. Pauline, my breakfast waitress was excellent, courteous, friendly and had a word for everyone she met. A treasure."

"I've been to Ireland many times, my mom was from Kinsale and we visit her family. I've always wanted to stay at the Actons Hotel, and let me tell you, it did not disappoint. We had a wonderful stay, great food and drink at Sidney's Pub, amazing breakfast in the restaurant each morning. Our room was so nice with floor to ceiling window with view of harbor. Walk to downtown area so quickly. Staff were the nicest hotel staff I've ever met, very accommodating and helpful. I would definitely recommend Actons Hotel in Kinsale."

"The staff was accommodating and verry helpful! Even though we got there later than planed we were able to walk a few blocks looking for some authentic Irish food, when the pub we stopped at was closed a very kind Irish gentleman was able to point un in the right direction. He was so great he even insisted to give us a ride to a wonderful fish and chips joint around the corner where we got plenty of food for our money. All in all very humble people all around the area and very friendly! Hotel room was fantastic nice big shower, very clean room and facilities but, the bed was a little worn and the breakfastwas worth the moneyas well. Great place!"
