The hotel and room were excellent, close to the city and had a balcony overlooking the river which was lovely. The only downside is that it is never mentioned in the information that you have to wear a swimming cap to use the pool, these can be purchased from the spa but I was not aware of this prior to booking. I do not like wearing swimming caps as I find them uncomfortable so did not use the pool which I would have liked to. I feel this should be mentioned in the spa info. Otherwise I could not fault the hotel and staff.

This was the absolute best hotel experience! I accidently forgot my phone and Debbie, front desk manager, was incredible - instead of having me spend time and money organizing and paying to DHL she rang me and said she was coming to the Netherlands where I live for the weekend. I met her in Amsterdam where she returned my phone. Above and beyond is all I can say - cheers to Clayton for hiring such rock stars! Although we are traditionally Hilton and Marriott, we are now loyal to an all-Irish brand - well done!!

Some rooms are nicer than others. We had two rooms. One of the rooms looked renovated. The other room was older and had red stains on the carpet that looked like it could be blood.

the staff cannot not be bothered, rooms were not vacuumed as I was allergic with running nose and sneezing as soon as I entered the room until the next day when I asked for the room to be clean and vacuumed and then I was better. Homeless person sleeping at the door by the breakfast room and was peeing at the door during breakfast If you are not a meat eater the don't go there not much other than baked beans and toast.

The stay was very relaxing and enjoyable. One small critic is that the evening meal is a little expensive and service was very slow. Slow to clear the table and once we had our main meal we were never approached again to see if we wanted desserts or how the meal was. Bar was not overly busy

First time in Ireland
Ideal location in the city centre with discounted parking in the underground car park. (Must validate your ticket at the hotel reception). Rooms were adequate and cleaned to a high standard. Good choice of breakfast and there is a hotel bar and restaurant and in house coffee shop. All friendly and helpful staff and I would stay here again.

Some confusion checking in with a second room reservation. Close to the English market/shopping. Shower was pathetic and hard to get bottles of water for room. A little expensive for what we got.

There's a homeless shelter across from the room, a fight broke out outside of our room, call security but nothing was done to stop or remove the documents

Nice place for business travel but went on holiday with the family and was ok. Amenities were over stated. Yes it has a pool and fitness center but they are part of a paid membership club. The pool was really for swimming laps and was always occupied with people doing just that. Same with the fitness center, it seemed like you were intruding on member’s workouts. Also the staff was not accommodating. After realizing the hotel wasn’t a good fit, I asked if I could cancel my 2nd night and got the corporate answer that cancelations must be made 24-hours in advance and I missed the deadline by 1-hour.
